Just as I thought, Skylar was all over Luke like nothing I've ever seen before but I was also right with me and Lilly.
She used her phone as a distraction to take away the awkwardness but in actual fact it sort of made it worse for the both of us.
I couldn't take the silence anymore so I went up to the counter and ordered my pizza, Luke can orders his in his own time but my aim was to get out of her as soon as I could.
It took about 10 minutes, so me and lily had almost a full conversation but it was only
"How's you?"
"Good hby?"
"I'm fine thanks for asking"
I rang Luke to make it vibrate in his pocket and he looked at me and I gave him the look "we need to leave" one of my signature looks. He got the message and ordered his pizza and no soon were we in there we were out again.
The whole way home was 20 questions;
"Why did you want to leave?"
"What made you so nervous?"
I was getting sick of it to the point I had to tell him to shut up or I would seriously damage his face.
When we got in we were more civilised and Luke didn't ask anymore questions which was the best part. I put on the amazing spider man which is our favourite movie, we know ever word which is actually really sad.
I started asking about Luke's girl and he looked like he was getting feed up of her, he said she's taking it too far and he doesn't want to see her anymore but doesn't know how to tell her and let her down easy. I suggested he rings her which means he doesn't have to say it face to face but still she could hear his voice. He agreed strangely and he was straight onto the phone while I happily in my own wee world ate my pizza and watched Spider-Man.
He put his phone down onto the table and I turned round to him. He looked relieved. He said
" finally some guy time."
That indicated he wanted to hang round with the band more and I could tell he wanted to for a while now.
