"So what have we found out so far?"

I asked.

Donghyuck and I gathered up Chenle and Jisung, Jeno, Renjun, and Jaemin, and Taeyong and Doyoung in our room.

We informed all of them on what was going on, and it seems that we already have some good information.

"Doyoung and I researched some things on the Dream Foundation, after noticing Jaehyun's abnormal behavior. Apparently, their main focus is actually extraterrestrial research. All of their funding goes towards these studies, experiments, and space travel"

"And their main extraterrestrial interests are on symbiotes from Klyntar, like most of you. With the proper matches, humans and symbiotes can live as an exceptionally advanced new species out in space. That would explain why they lost so much of their funding after Venom went missing"

Doyoung added from Taeyong's explanation.

"They can just suck it up because I'm not going back there. But what about Project Carnage?"

Donghyuck inquired.

"Oh yeah! Hyuck did mention to me that the name Carnage sounded familiar to him, but it also gave him a bad feeling. Is there any reason why?"

"That name should give him a bad feeling. Carnage is an abomination from our world. His powers are just about unrivaled compared to any of our kind"

"He's the reason why we were glad to leave Klyntar when we were invaded by the Dream Foundation. We would've chosen to fight back, but we saw it as a chance to escape from Carnage"

Renjun and Jaemin explained.

"If it's true that the Dream Foundation managed to contain him somehow and he's here on Earth for Project Carnage, this could mean certain doom for us, and this planet"

Jisung predicted.

"We obviously can't stand around and let that happen. I really like this planet a lot, and I don't want to see anyone get hurt or killed. So, what's the plan?"

Donghyuck sternly questioned.

"Well let's see.... What do we all know that's a symbiote's weakness"

Taeyong questioned.

"Well, first there's the level of sounds that we refer to as Sonics. They're the sounds within the four to six kilohertz range that cause extreme pain to us symbiotes, and prolonged exposure to them could kill us"

Renjun explained.

"And then there's intense levels of heat. Normal heat is fine, but we're vulnerable to intense levels of heat and flames, and prolonged exposure to them could kill us as well"

Jisung added.

"Right~. And who do we know that's exceptionally weak to intense levels of heat and flames~?"

Taeyong asked once more.

Most of us were confused, but a few of us caught on almost immediately.

"Carnage!"

All of the symbiotes answered.

"Exactly~! So here's what I'm proposing. We figure out the layout of the Dream Foundation, and locate where Carnage is being held. While doing that, we should find any flammable substances that might be lying around. That way, we can break in after hours, and fill the room with those substances. Also, we should make sure the entire place is cleared out before setting it up in flames. We can eliminate Carnage and free Jaehyun and his employees from the company in the process~"

Taeyong explained.

"...That just might work! And I'm sure that Henry-hyung will help us too~. But, what do we do about the other symbiotes that might be contained there?"

I asked, concerned for their well-being.

"...If they've successfully found a host that they're ok with staying in without causing any trouble, then we'll help them escape. But if not, then I think it would be best for them to burn with Carnage"

"Jaemin is right. We don't know what damage they could potentially cause to the outside world if we let them loose without a proper host. I know it may seem cruel, but it would be for the best for everyone to just let them die"

Doyoung added.

"..I guess you're right. So, what day are we doing this. It's got to be as soon as possible right?"

Before anyone could answer me, we suddenly heard a knock at the door.

We were currently in the practice room, to be sure that no one would here us in the dorms. I wonder who it could be.

"I'll get it"

Doyoung went to the door and opened it, revealing just who we were talking about.

"Oh, Jaehyun~. What's up kid??"

Doyoung tried to make him feel as comfortable as possible.

He looked extremely tired, and also sad.

"I'm heading out for a bit. I just wanted to let everyone know. I'll be back as soon as I can"

"Well alright then. Don't stay out too late, and be careful"

"I will. Thanks hyung..."

He waved at the rest of us before lethargically walking away.

Doyoung closed the door behind him and returned to us.

"Does tonight sound like a good night for you guys?"

"This soon?!"

Donghyuck exclaimed.

"It might be the best time. We don't know what might happen with Jaehyun and Carnage if we don't act fast. Mark-hyung, we'll need you to contact Henry-hyung immediately. You mentioned before that the security levels will be at max, so he's our best chance of getting in and out of that place"

"He's right. We can't do this without him"

Renjun and Jeno informed me.

"I'll call him right away. The rest of you should get ready to leave"

"Doyoung and I will get some snacks for everyone~"

Taeyong cheered, excitedly exiting the room with him.

Looks like we're in for a real adventure tonight.
