"Aria~" The annoying voice called out. My days of spending here became weeks, and I don't know how much time has passed since I was just inside a cage. "Hey Ian," I turned my head towards him. "Yes?"

"Why are you here?" I asked, my eyes staring at him intently. "Why of course, to meet my lovely bride!" He immediately answered. The same answer as always. When I asked him how he knows where I am, he just smiled. He was even able to get in and out of this place as he pleases! What the hell?! And, Gray has been visiting me lately. Sometimes, when our eyes meet, he would blush and turn his head away. Or, when I compliment him by calling him 'handsome', he would stutter out and his face being the tomato it is. Seriously, and then, I gained another friend! He has brown hair, and black coal eyes. He also have a choker on his neck, and his name is Cedric. Those three guys would visit me in a separate time, as if they were carefully trying not to bump into each other. When I asked Gray how my country is doing, he replied honestly.

"The country is in chaos because the rumored Crazy Archduke was going around, killing the bandits that were messing with him. When the king asked why he was like that, he said something like, 'My adorable, cute, beautiful baby girl is nowhere to be found.' is what he said."

Damn dad. I felt guilty and asked Gray for a request, and thankfully, he somehow did it. I told him to send dad a threatening letter, containing the words I told him to write.

Dear father,

Seems like you have a lot of time, leeching off some bandits running their asses around. But if you somehow involved innocent people, I might stay here longer so that you cannot see me. And oh, I am fine so please don't get fucked over my disappearance. I'm sorry to have caused you to worry, but please do remain sane as I remind you to never. NEVER. EVER. GO. ON. A. RAMPAGE. Or you will never get to see the sunset when I arrive home. I will also ignore you for how many weeks, hmmm, maybe months? No, a year. That will be the minimum number. So I hope you are doing very well over there and not torturing some people. Because father, you know what will happen right? ~
                                            Love,
                     Your daughter~

Hahaha. I did contain some curses, but it is probably okay.

"My lady?" Gray called out, I snapped out of my thoughts and looked around, realizing that Ian has gone. "Gray, now that I think about it..." I said, pondering with my finger on my jaw.

Gray look at her with a confused face. "You never called me by my name." She said, pouting. "W-well, it is rude of me to call a princess by her name, so please do understand, my lady." He said, a little flustered.

She stared at him for a while before turning her head away, crossing her arms. "My lady?" He called, but no response came out. "My ladyy??"

"My lady?"

"My lady!"

"My lady, please?"

No matter how many times he call her, she didn't turn her head to face him. Gray scratched his head and sighed, before a little tint of pink appeared on his cheeks, his ears flaming red. "A-Alya?"

The moment she heard her name, she whipped her head to him. "Yes?" If she were an animal, she would be a puppy. Gray sighed, but a cookie was shoved to his mouth. He looked in front of him, seeing Alya not being able to draw back her hand because of the bar. She smiled innocently, as if she never did anything. "My lady, you-"

"Alya." She cut him off, glaring at him. "Alya." He said, sighing again. "Gray, why are you sighing so much today? The building will collapse because of your heavy sighs." She said, smirking. "Then who do you think made me like this?"

"I don't know. How would I know?"

During the time he has spent with Alya, Gray noticed something. Although she is sharp and intelligent, she is also an airhead. A sharp and intelligent, but also a stupid, dense and naive airhead girl.

Time passes by, they forgot how long they were spending time with each other, as if they were lovers meeting in secret after not being able to see each other a long time. But, they were completely forgetting something, Alya has another friend. Cedric. A handsome, cheerful and approachable boy who has brown hair that can pass off as blonde, black coal eyes that will swallow you.

He went inside the room, humming, excited to meet his friend. But he saw an extremely rare scene. Gray, the indifferent mage that never laughs or cries, was smiling at her. His friend. Not only that, his smile is different. Not a genuine one. It's not a contempt one either. It was like...

As if he was in love. Cedric froze, thinking that. Of course, he thinks it's funny, but it's undeniable when you see the evidence in front of your eyes. He should be happy, but...

Throb. What is this? His heart ached. Throb. He never felt anything like this either. Throb. Did someone put anything on his food? Is that why he is having a Heart Palpitation?

He rubbed where his heart is, trying to calm it down. He raised his head again, his black coal eyes meeting with a pair of sky blue orbs. It curved into crescent moons, and it was as if her eyes sparkled.

"Cedric!" Her euphonic voice calling out his name, it's wonderful. Ba-dump. What was that again? First, it throbbed. And then it pounded, not hurt, but it felt like he was happy.

He closed his eyes, remembering his memories with her.

"Cedric! How did you do that? It's so cool!"

"Gosh! Why are you so naughty Cedric?"

"Kyaah! Cedric! Don't scare me like that! You almost gave me a heart attack!"

"Hey, Cedric, how are you so handsome?"

Remembering that time, his cheeks flushed. "Cedric?" The familiar voice snapped him out of his thoughts. He opened his eyes again, seeing Gray look at him with his eyes widened. Then subconsciously, his eyes wandered to her. Seeing her pretty and endearing face, his lips curved into a smile. "Alin, how are you doing?" He asked, walking towards her.

"Cedric! I'm doing fine inside this cage! Although it sucks being inside here all the time, I have two handsome guys bringing me delicious foods and they spend time with me anyways!" She said with a smile, causing the two of them blush.

"Hmm~ Is this the friend you were talking about?" He asked, glancing at Gray, then he clashed with Gray's eyes. The two were having a staring contest, while the girl stared at them in confusion. "Ah, do you perhaps, know each other?" She asked, cocking her head. Both turned their heads to look at the girl and nodded.

"He is Gray Alf, while I'm Cedric Alf." He explained, her jaw dropped. "You're brothers?!" She yelled, staring at them intently. "Well, we do share the same name." Gray said.

"You guys..." She said, her voice lowering. The two stared at her, then she raised her head with tears in her eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me??!!"
