Chapter 14 : Dinner With The Parents

Caitlin's POV:
I got up excited that Justin was coming over for dinner tonight, I just hope my Mom doesn't bother him

I got a shower and got dressed in a plain white t-shirt and sweat pants, I'll get dressed up for dinner
I went downstairs and got some cereal for breakfast

Once I was done with breakfast I decided to watch TV for a little while
I then decided to change into some skinny jeans and head to the park for a while, I put on my black flats and began walking to the park

I got to the park and just sat on the swings
I like to come here to think or just to enjoy the fresh air

It got to lunch time and I headed home
"Hey sweetie" Dad smiled as I walked through the front day
"Hey" I smiled back
"Want me to make you a sandwich for lunch?" He asked
"Yes please" I replied
"What sandwich do you want?" He asked 
"Um, turkey please" I smiled
I watched as Dad made my sandwich
Once he finished he put it on a plate and handed it to me
"Thanks" I said, sitting at the table in the kitchen "Where's Mom?" I asked
"She went to get some stuff for dinner tonight"
I nodded and continued eating

Once I'd eaten I sat and watched TV for a while when I got a text

From: Justin
Hey baby <3

I then replied

To: Justin
Hi :)

I sat watching TV for a while before getting another text

From: Justin
What are you doing? <3

I smiled before replying

To: Justin
Nothing, just watching TV. You nervous for dinner tonight?

He soon replied

From: Justin
A little, yeah. I mean I don't think you're Mom likes me all that much at the moment haha

I laughed and replied

To: Justin
Haha, yeah. I hope she doesn't bother you later for dinner

We texted for a while and then I decided to go and pick out my outfit for tonight
I went upstairs and picked out a slightly casual but more dressy kind of outfit
Once I was done I went back downstairs and checked the time, '3pm', I think I might go to Starbucks for a drink to pass time
I went upstairs and grabbed my phone and my purse and headed back downstairs
As I got to the bottom of the stairs the front door opened and Mom walked in
"Where are you going?" She asked
"To Starbucks" I replied walking past her and to the door
I then left and walked to Starbucks

I reached Starbucks and went in
I ordered a drink and a snack and sat down at a table
I decided to text Justin to see if he wanted to meet me

To: Justin
Hey, I'm at Starbucks, wanna meet me?

He soon replied

From: Justin
Yeah sure, I'll be there soon

I waited and soon Justin arrived
He ordered a drink and also got something to eat before coming and sitting with me
We talked for a while and then once we were done Justin drove me home
I walked in and went upstairs to get ready for dinner soon
I took a shower and got dressed in a Chanel vintage printed top, white skinny jeans and black wedge heels before heading downstairs (link to the outfit in the comments)

Dinner time came around and the door bell went
I ran downstairs to answer it and opened it to see Justin wearing a white shirt, with a light brown jacket, denim looking jeans and white shoes (Picture at the side/top)
I let him in as Mom was currently cooking dinner and Dad was helping
We went in the living room and sat down talking for a little while
"You look beautiful" He smiled
"You look pretty handsome yourself" I smiled back

Dad came in and told us dinner was ready 
We went into the kitchen and sat down at the table
We all talked a little and I could tell my Mom was bothering Justin

After dinner we talked a little longer and then later Justin had to leave
As he was leaving I walked him to the door and kissed him
He then left and I changed into my sweats and a baggy t-shirt as it was more comfortable

Later it got late so I got a shower and headed to bed
I grabbed my phone and text Justin

To: Justin
Goodnight xx

From: Justin
Goodnight xx Love you princess <3

To: Justin
Love you too <3

I then turned my phone off and fell asleep...
