Chapter 8 : The Surprise

Caitlin's POV:
I couldn't believe my eyes, it was beautiful, Justin made sure we arrived right at sunset
We got out of our cars and he took my hand and led me to a beautiful picnic (link in the comments)
I gasped "Justin, its perfect" I smiled
"I'm glad you like it" Justin smiled
We sat down and he smirked "Wait here" He said running to his car
He came back moments later with a picnic basket
He sat back down and got out some food, he took out a bag of Cheetos, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, some pretzels, and cherries, he then called someone, I'm assuming a pizza place and minutes later a delivery boy arrived with a large pepperoni pizza 
I giggled a little "How did you come up with all of this? Its perfect" I smiled
"I'll be honest my mom helped me with food ideas" Justin admitted
We sat and ate the pizza, then the Cheetos and then we started feeding each other the cherries and strawberries before eating some pretzels
Once we were done, I kissed Justin "That was the best night ever, thank you"
"Its not over yet" He smiled reaching into the picnic basket
He pulled out a velvet box and handed it to me, I opened it and revealed a gorgeous promise ring (link in the comments)
"Justin, I love it" I smiled

Later we headed home and as I walked in my parents smiled
I gave them a confused look
"So how was it?" My mom asked
"You knew?"
"Yeah, what did he give you? He said he had a present for you" My dad asked
I showed them the ring "He gave me a promise ring"
"Honey its beautiful" My dad smiled
I blushed "He also took me to a candle lit picnic he prepared"
"He sounds romantic" My Mom smiled
"He is" I smiled getting lost in my thoughts about him
"I'd like to meet him" My dad smiled
"Sure, I'll invite him over tomorrow for dinner" I smiled skipping upstairs happily to my room
I laid back on my bed and took out my phone, I unlocked it and saw I had a text from Justin:

'I miss you already baby <3'

I smiled and replied:

'I miss you too, My parents want to know if you'll come over for dinner tomorrow, they wanna meet you <3'

He soon replied:

'I'd love to <3'

We kept texting each other until it got to 11pm

'I'm going to sleep, goodnight <3'

He replied:

'Wait for me ;)'

I furrowed my eyebrows and replied:

'What are you talking about?'

He didnt reply after that so I locked my phone, placing it on my bedside table

About 20 minutes later there was a knock on my balcony door
I went over and opened it to see Justin
I smiled and threw my arms around him
He smiled and kissed me, I closed my balcony door and we lay on the bed talking, me in his arms, my legs inbetween his
We soon fell asleep...

I awoke in Justin's arms and smiled as his eyes fluttered open
Someone cleared their throat "And what happened here?" My Mom's voice said
Uh oh...
