Sometimes, an adventurous heart finds a special place in the world, that fills it with comfort and joy, love and happiness. The thrill of going on inexperienced trips never ebbs, but maybe one finds a spot where they feel the most comfortable, no matter how fascinating everything around them might be, whereas others just can't get enough of discovering as many places as possible, their longing to see something new never to be ending.

The owner of the heart in this story is called Bia. Ever since she was a childling and have heard stories about the world above, she was filled with the will to discover the surface of Thra, given the fact that she had dwelled in the caves of grot for the majority of her lifetime.

Sure thing, Bia loved her home, but she had been longing for seeing more, more of Thra, meeting other gelfling and other creatures, that she didn't even know they existed, meeting the other clans, and one of them aroused her interest particularly, the Spriton. So the place, where her adventurous spirit made her stay, was Sami Thicket. Admitting, the fact that she has made one of her best friends there could have done its part, and so did the love of her life, Kylan.

This happened a few trines ago and now, Bia and her boyfriend live happily together in the main residence of the Spriton.
Her curiosity for seeing other places of Thra didn't end and also, from time to time, Bia travelled back to the caves of grot, the place where her family lives.

Now, one day it happened that Kylan and some more gelfling headed off the village. They planned to go to Stone-in-the-woods, taking there some things of the harvest in exchange for by Stonewood hand crafted tools.

Bia helped the gelfling in the task of loading the carts with the plenty of sacks and stacked them to heaps upon the loading area. It was still early in the morning, just in the state of the great sun to rise. The roof lining was dived into a hue of orange from the spot, where the sun marked the brightest point at the sky, turning it into a soft, bright pink at the opposite direction.
The air was cool and spread out that unmistakable fresh scent of morning.

Aside from the group, a few other gelfling, who started to pursue their daily routine, were already outside. Some worked in groups together, chatting and others were just doing their business for their own, greeting the other villagers in passing or just saying nothing at all.
Bia looked around for a moment, scanning the surrounding for her friend Hasa, but couldn’t see her. She would be either out of visibility or still be in her hut, preparing herself and her son for the day.

Devoting her attention back to the action she had just interrupted for a few seconds, she took one of the last sacks and put it neatly into a free gap between two others on the cart. As she turned to take the other one, she heard regular footsteps approaching her in crunching sounds on the pebble covered ground. Kylan stood next to her, holding the last bag in both of his hands.
As her keen eyes picked up his face, she could see the rays of the rising suns kissing his head. They empathized the otherwise almost invisible green highlights in his black hair and gave his amber coloured eyes a slight golden sheen.

“Thank you,” Bia appreciated, as he put it in completion on top of the heap. “Was that the last one?”
“I think so," Kylan replied. “There isn’t any space for more anyway, I guess.” He flipped up the clapperboard and the catches on the inside snatched with a clicking noise into the holes of the belonging hinges.

Bia opened her mouth to ask something, but was interrupted by the calling voice of a gelfling at the other end of the cart.
“Alright, folks. We are ready to set off.” He strolled around the cart, where Bia and Kylan were standing. “Thank you for helping us," he said to the Grottan girl briefly, then devoting his attention back to the group.
“You guys go first," he commanded to the group, that was gathered around the cart, standing beside him.
They did as they were told and started to push it forward.
Bia turned to Kylan again, now to tell him goodbye.

Despite of being the optimistic person she was, Bia knew, it was not wrong to be on guard, particularly on a journey that led through the dark wood, hence she said: “Take care of yourselves, guys.”
Then, she turned to Kylan and wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
“So do you," Kylan said calmly, as he returned his girlfriend’s embrace. “We will be back in about two or three days.”
Releasing him, she gave him a last glance and Kylan addressed to the barrow. Bia saw him and the leader of the group moving it after the one in front of them.
As they had passed the gate, that marked the entrance of the village, she turned the opposite direction and with slight hopping steps, Bia made her way to her hut.
