We rolled through the wall and saw the scarlet steam engine sitting in the station loaded with students.
My brother looked at me, his gray eyes stared into my blue ones and he had a hopeful smile on his face.
I rolled my eyes, "I've seen it before."
"Yeah, but you've never been on it!" He hugged my mother while I said goodbye to my father.
"Oh y/n! I'm just so glad you're going to Hogwarts this year! That's my girl," he said as he ruffled my hair.
"Dad!" I gave him a smile and fixed my hair. Then I gave my mother a hug. Yes, my dad was very dramatic but I still loved him.
"Goodbye mum, see you soon." I let go of her and walked confidently towards the train, trying to make it seem like I wasn't about to throw up. Cedric walked next to me.
"It's gonna be great," He said noticing my fake attitude. "You'll love it here! I have to go to the prefect compartment but save me a spot and I'll come check in on you when I'm done."
He gave me a smile an a wave and headed off down the other hallway. I heard many people greet him kindly, this made me smile. Cedric was the kindest, funniest, and sweetest person I had ever met. I'm glad he's known for his best qualities here too.
During my 3 years at Beauxbatons, I would use floo powder to travel to a neighboring town and then go to the gates where they would have the horse and carriage to take us to the castle. My term started later than Cedric's so I would always go see him off and then I would go to school.
I noticed as I looked around at the other compartments, people were holding newspapers and whispering worriedly to each other.
I made it almost to the back of the train and there were no empty compartments, the only one without lots of people in them was one with a sleeping man. He looked old enough to be a teacher, but he also looked extremely exhausted.
I felt guilty as I slipped into the compartment and sat down carefully trying not to disturb the man.
A few minutes later, 3 students appeared in front of the compartment door. The girl in front had bushy brown hair and rather large front teeth. Behind her were two boys, one was tall with bright red hair, and the other had messy brown hair and glasses. He was quite handsome.
I motioned for them to come in, the girl opened the compartment door and sat next to the man, leaving a bit of space and the redhead sat next to her. The other boy came and sat next to me.
"He's probably too fast asleep to even be bothered by us," said the girl. "Hello, I'm Hermione Granger, this is Ron Weasley," she said pointing to the boy next to her. He gave me a slight wave and smile, "and this is-."
"Harry." He said as he turned towards me.
No way! I thought. I am in a compartment with Harry Potter! I can't wait to tell Cedric about this!
"Y/n." I said confidently. He smiled.
Ron broke the silence by asking, "Who do you think he is?"
"Professor R. J. Lupin," said Hermione casually. She flipped through her copy of The Daily Prophet.
How does she know that?
"How do you know that?" Asked Ron right after the thought came to my head.
Again she responded casually, "it's on his suitcase."
Ron and I glanced in that direction and saw a golden stamp on a leather suitcase. "I wonder what he teaches?" I asked curiously.
