"so how was it?" fukunaga turned to you, resting his elbows on your desk. you sighed and put your head down, "how was what?" you muttered
"you know the getting stuff with akaashi, you texted the group chat and then never texted again" he nudges you, making you raise your head with a tired expression. "it was good i suppose" you pushed yourself back and raised your arms, stretching.
"so nothing super cool, special, or even dreamy happened?" you chuckle at the boy and ruffle his hair, "he insisted that he take the train home with me but that was about it"

"this is my train, thank you for walking me" you bowed and gave the setter a gentle smile. "thank you for helping on such short notice, and i'm sorry that our managers weren't here to help" he bowed as well and held his hands together.
"that's alright, we did a lot today, it was good" you nudged his shoulder with your fist and stopped walking as the train approached. "let me ride with you home." he watched the train slow down, then looked down at you. "oh no no you don't-" "it's getting dark, i'd like to go with you if it's alright."
you assumed if he was told you didn't want him to come he would respect that, but for you, you didn't really mind, you just sorta feel bad about him going all the way to your city and back
you give him a nod "if you insist, who am i to stop you"

"that's so movie like" fukunaga chuckled, you rolled your eyes "no it is not, be quiet mr.freeze" you put your head back down and wait for the day to end, though you'd have to go to practice with the boys today anyway, so the day really isn't over for you.
