WARNING: ! MENTIONS OF BLOOD AND HARSH ACTIONS SUCH AS BULLYING TAKEN PLACE !

If you asked me to describe my worst nightmare I would probably say: Draco Lucius Malfoy, a fourteen year old self centered git who thinks he's all that just because daddy has money. You might be asking, why? Why do I seem so hostile towards this boy?

Well I, Kamila Rose Clear-water / (y/f/n) will soon be telling you, it started in Year One, we were friends everything was normal until the sorting ceremony and I found my once best friend sat across from me at the Slytherin table while I was sat with my fellow Ravenclaw students. Ever since nothing has been the same.

Walking in the hallway felt like a hurricane coming towards me, a hurricane of insults, sitting next to him in potions was like sitting next to a firework that was constantly going off. This brings us now to Year Three Draco Malfoy, even more self centered and more cocky then usual hard to believe I know.

~~~
A sigh fell from the girls lips as she took her seat next to Draco for potions grabbing the paper, quill, and ink holder, and getting ready for Snape's class ignoring the glare that Draco was burning into the side of her head as he slid a note towards her, giving his signature smirk she and everyone knew for the past three years now.
Slowly she opened the paper, rolling her brown eyes at the illustration shown on the parchment of a girl falling off her broom with the initials D.M imprinted on the bottom. Let's explain, last year during quidditch practice she was chasing after the snitch but bumped into a fellow classmate causing her to fall straight on her arse, sadly HE was there to see it happen.
This has been going on for the past week now, him bringing up the fall was like a toddler wanting there favorite toy, over and over and over again with the same thing, difference is toddlers are cute annoying but cute, Draco on the other hand was annoying...just annoying there was nothing else to add.
As the class went on Kamila /(y/n) found herself yawning her eyelids droopy as she struggled to stay awake in the rather boring class. As a result Draco knocked her arm out from under her chin causing her head to bang into the table, making her bite her tongue harshly as blood filled her mouth.
She excused herself as she rushed to wash her mouth out, running down the hallway as his laughter echoed through the halls into her ears only making her run faster wanting his laughter to go away, to finally leave her alone, to stop mocking her for every single thing she does and has ever done.
Where did she go wrong?
"Are you okay?" Luna's soothing voice came softly into her ear as she walked over to her friend and handed her small potions "these should help with the pain, or at least take most of it away" She smiled at the young girl softly rubbing her back as she slowly drank the small potions.
"If you don't mind me asking, weren't you and Draco friends before?"
Kamila  / (y/n)  sniffled and smiled softly "yes, we once were, we met a very long time ago when we were younger but rekindled on the train to Hogwarts actually" with a soft smile on her lips she slowly sat on the floor retelling the once funny story.
Draco panted as he crashed into what he thought was an empty cart "yes?" he looked up at the voice of the young girl, "Sorry, I thought this was empty, I'm running away from this girl she keeps asking me weird questions" he shuddered in disgust and felt a small smile creep on his lips as a laugh escaped the young girls mouth, "you should sit" Draco nodded and sat in front of the girl, taking a peak at the book she was reading "what is that?" she smiled as excitement filled her to the brim "it's this amazing book by John Green a muggle author-" "-muggle authors why would you ever waste your time on that?" Draco's eyes fell on the frown placed on the girls lips watching their very movement as she spoke again "I'll prove you wrong. Listen to this: " I felt this weird mix of disappointment and anger welling up inside of me. I don't even know what the feeling was, really, just that there was a lot of it, and I wanted to smack Augustus Waters and also replace my lungs with lungs that didn't suck at being lungs. I was standing with my Chuck Taylors on the very edge of the curb, the oxygen tank ball-and-chaining in the cart by my side, and right as my mom pulled up, I felt a hand grab mine. " - John Green. Draco hadn't known he was smiling till she had pointed it out"Maybe I will take a chance on him..but only one chance. I'm Draco Malfoy" he cockily stuck his hand out he didn't remember me "I'm Kamila Clear-water  /  (y/f/n) " she shook his hand firmly as they both started talking and the talking didn't seem to end.
Luna smiled as she told the story "you convinced Draco Malfoy to read a muggle book?" a slight nod was given as a response, followed by a light chuckle. "Yeah but once I was placed in Ravenclaw and he was placed in Slytherin everything went down the drain...hell he even burned the letters I gave him in front of me" she let a soft cry escape her mouth before she showed Luna the two bundles of letters Draco had given her in class.
She smiled softly and showed her one of his rings he had given her a small silver band and on the inside engraved the words 'D. Malfoy' his fashion has definitely upgraded, his hands covered in bulky silver rings decorated with snakes and diamond, his hair no longer gelled back just resting there on his head over his amazing gray steel eyes that sometimes she still has love for, oh how she missed him.
She missed him so much.
