A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I was stuck on this chapter for a while, but I finally figured something out. I'm pretty sure in the next chapter, I'm going to be skipping ahead a few months. I don't have much else to say, so I hope you enjoy!
Riley's POV
I had to go to my parents house to get something, I it was something very important. I needed to talk to my mother about something very important and special. I can imagine that she will be very excited about what I'm going to ask her.
Once I got to my parents house, I knocked on the door until my mother answered. "Riley, what are you doing here?" She said inviting me inside. "Well, mom, I actually came to talk to you about something, first though, how are you feeling?" I asked her, my mother was only about 14 weeks at this point so I was a little worried about her.
"Well, actually Riley, I'm pretty good, at this point, my morning sickness is pretty much gone, my cravings are crazy though, yesterday, I ate pickles and peanut butter." She said, that made me laugh. "Mom, that's really gross." I said, pickles and peanut butter sounds disgusting. "Blame them." She said pointing to her belly.
"Well, anyway, what was it you wanted to talk about?" She asked, oh yeah, the reason I came here in the first place. "Well mom, as you know, I'm getting married soon, I'm not going to tell you when just yet, but I wanted to know if I could have your dress." I said, after Maya and I went to look for dresses, I realized that the only dress for me was my mothers'.
"Honey, I thought you'd never ask! Of course you can have my dress, let me go get it." She said as she walked away, I knew she'd be happy about the fact that I asked her for her dress. "Here it is, go try it on!" She said as she came back holding the dress, it looked identical to the pictures, it looked brand new.
I went to the bathroom to put on the dress. After I put on the dress, I walked out to the living room to show my mom and at this point, she had brought my dad in there too. "What do you guys think?" I asked, looking deep into their eyes for approval. "Riley, that looks perfect on you." My mom said as I saw tears start to form in her eyes. "Riley, you look just like your mother." My dad said. "Mom, don't cry." I said, now my mother was crying.
"I'm sorry Riley, my hormones are acting up right now, but also, my daughter is getting married, how could I not cry." She said. "I love you mom, and I love this dress and I am so happy that you are going to let me wear it." I said, I really did love the dress, and I am so glad I get to wear it.
I told my parents that I love them, and that I would see them later because I needed to se Farkle, I haven't seen him all day. I drove home quickly to so I could see him as quickly as possible.
Once I got in the door, Farkle said something really flirty like "Oh looks like my pretty lady's home" and then pulled me into a passionate kiss. "Well, what is this all about?" I asked when I pulled away. "What, I can't just kiss my fiancée?" He asked. "No." I said and a frown appeared on his face. "What's it all about?" I asked.
"So, obviously, you know about my father's company 'Minkus International'." He said. "Of course I do Farkle, how could I not." I said. "Well, I'm still only 17, but I turn 18 in about a month so, he's giving me the company early!" He said, I was shocked. "He's still going to be there to run it until I finish college, but I'll be making really good money." He said. "Farkle, that's amazing. I am so proud of you." I said.
*One Week Later*
Maya's POV
I was about to head over to Riley and Farkle's so I stopped at Starbucks to get some coffee. I saw Josh and so I went to say hi. "Hey Josh." I said. "Hey Maya." He said and he scratched the back of his neck like he does when he's nervous.
"Josh, is everything alright?" I asked. "Maya, I love you." He said. "Oh, Josh, I love you too." I said. "No Maya, I love you love you." He said. "Josh, I am not doing this right now, I am engaged and I have kids of my own with Lucas, you know this. I cannot and will not do this right now."
Then he kissed me, Joshua Matthews kissed me and I didn't kiss him back. I immediately left without my coffee because I just couldn't be there anymore. I was then headed to Riley and Farkle's, I didn't want Riley to be there, so I got Farkle to convince Riley to go shopping.
I knocked on the door and Farkle immediately answered it. "Hey Maya, what was it you came over for." He asked. "Do you remember that wedding dress I wore in 8th grade when you and I were fake married for 6 weeks?" I asked. "Yeah, I do, that was fun." He said. "Yeah it was, but what I'm more concerned about is that you told me when that was all over that you kept the dress, do you have it?" I asked. "Yeah, I do, it's in a box in my closet, I'll be right back."
"Here it is." He said pulling it out of the box. "Oh my gosh, it looks exactly the same, let me make sure it still fits, as far as I know, I'm still the same size. I'll be right back." I said as I headed towards the bathroom.
"Wow, Maya, you look amazing." He said. "Yeah, it still looks exactly the same. It's perfect." I said. "Wait a minute, Maya, this is your wedding dress?" He asked. "Yeah, but don't tell Riley or Lucas, I want this to be a surprise." I said. "It's perfect Maya." He said. "Thanks."
A/N: Well, now you know what Riley and Maya's wedding dresses are. There is some conflict with Josh that will come into play later on. Anyway this is where I'm going to leave this today. I hope you enjoyed!
