A year had passed, and Yurin and Haknyeon hadn't seen each other. Haknyeon was busy working as an entrepreneur whilst Yurin decided to work for herself and opened a bakery.
It was time for Haknyeon's lunch break, so he went to a bakery close by. He opened the door and the bell jingled.
"Welcome!" The cashier greeted as he walked up.
"Please give me a sponge cake, that is all." He said and took out his wallet.
"That'll be 12,000 won." The cashier responded and took out the sponge cake and placed it in a small box.
Haknyeon took out his money and looked up as he handed the money. Then, he saw a familiar figure walk into a room from behind.
"Excuse me, but may I know who works here?" Haknyeon asked the cashier.
She nervously chuckled not knowing what to say, "I'm sorry but we can't give away personal informatio-"
"Then can I see your manager?" He asked quickly, cutting her off.
The cashier chuckled and bowed, leaving. Then a familiar figure came out. "What did you make a mistake again?" The girl asked her employee.
"N-no.."
The girl averted her gaze to the front of the cashier and met eye contact with Haknyeon. "Haknyeon.." She mumbled under her breath.

"How are you...?" Haknyeon asked, breaking the awkward silence between them.
"I'm good.. What about you?" Yurin asked with an awkward smile.
"Oh I've been doing well." He responded with a smile. Haknyeon scratched the nape of his neck and there was yet another silence.
Haknyeon inhaled, "Y-Yurin-ah.."
Yurin looked up from her hands and into Haknyeon's. Her eyes glew and had specs of stars in them. Her eyes held the whole universe.
There was that feeling again, the feeling of love. His heartbeat moved faster than sonic's speed and butterflies filled his stomach twice the amount since he last saw her.
"I-I wanted to ask you.." He stuttered, paused, and picked his nails, "This time, if I asked you out, what would you say?" Haknyeon looked up.
"Haknyeon-"
"And this time, I'm not your client anymore." He cut her off before she had made an excuse.
A small smile formed on her face and Haknyeon's heart had skipped a beat.
