Chapter 5: Lost at Sea

Your POV

I could see the water get closer and closer crap I just remembered I can't swim very well closing my eyes tight I can feel myself plunge into the very cold water. I open my eyes to see that I have resurfaced. "Holy freak its cold!" I blurt out, I then hear a chuckle from beside me and I see Scourge failing miserably at trying to hold in a laugh. I can feel my face head up in embarassment. Covering my face and turning away from him I notice a small island in the distance. Huh I wonder what's over there. Phantom then swims up next to me "Come on we have to get there before night fall" she says before swimming towards the island. Looking back to Scourge we both just shrug. Wonder what happens during night fall oh well let's just get there this water is freezing.

Author POV

The three then start swimming although you were having some difficulty keeping up. This caused the other to constantly stop to wait for you. After 10 minutes of this the two both agreed that this would take long and Scourge would have to help you. He swam over to you. "You need help?" "N-no I got it" you reply while struggling to keep your head up. Grabbing both of your hands and placing them on his shoulders he then starts to swim "Just let yourself float". You both make your way over to Phantom who seems to be daydreaming while looking at the sky. Scourge gives a quick whistle that snaps her bad to reality. After a very long hour of you floating on Scourge's back and Phantom occasionally spacing out looking at who knows what in the freaking distance, you all finally make it to the island.

Scourge's POV

Fucking finally!!! We made it to....wherever the hell we are and holy crap it's night already. Smiling weakly to myself I am so tired and cold I swear I just wanna set myself on fire and pass out. I look over and see my poor love shivering. I start to feel bad knowing that I can't warm her up since I'm fucking drenched. She then suddenly topples over and I manage to catch her before she hits the ground. "Whoa what the--" I then feel a sudden wave of exhaustion come over me. Then darkness surrounds me and I feel myself fall.

Phantom's POV

Well shit eh at least they are on the shore. I pull the two ugggghhhhhh crap I really don't want to pull them all the way to the fucking house. I then put the two on a wooden sled I stole. Then I start to pull the sled while cursing to myself and trying not to snap my own neck. If I didn't space out AGAIN like last time we would have gotten here and I wouldn't be dragging these idiots. Fucking hell ooookkkaayyy calm down don't snap your own neck again that shit hurts. I then pull them into the house and throw Scourge on the floor and put his girl on the cot in the corner. I go over and grab two blankets from the closet, covering the mortal with one and throwing the other onto Scourge.
