Sunakage

"Kageyama-kun, are you awake? Your parents need to talk to you."
A maid knocked on his door several times before opening it, only to find the prince still deep asleep.

"Kageyama-kun..." She softly whispered before going over to him and shaking his shoulder to wake him up.
"Mmm what?" Kageyama opened his eyes and looked over at the maid.
"What do you want?"

"Your parents need you, you should get ready Kageyama-kun."
She stood straight and went to his closet, getting his formal clothes and setting them by his bed.

"After you get ready a guard will escort you over to their room."
Kageyama nodded and got out of bed,ready to start his day.

"Isn't too early for this. What the hell do they want now."
I'm too tired for their shit.
Kageyama took off his pajamas and placed them by the side of his bed.
Once placing them by the side he grabbed the clothes the maid had put in his bed and put them on.

Opening the door I find two guards standing by my door,
"Good morning Kageyama-kun. Please follow us."
I nod and follow them through the halls of the castle. I barely leave my room, since I'm not allowed to unless its something important. I have to be a certain age to leave my room by myself without no one's permission. This castle is hell.

I get to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in my room everyday, I have my own bathroom and library there. I would like to go outside more often though, even though the inside might be hell the outside is really beautiful.

I remember seeing some kids play with a ball, I've never had one but it seems cool. That's another reason I would like to leave this stupid place, once I get the chance I'll make a damn run for it.

After walking with the guards for a few minutes we finally make it to my parents office. I take a deep breath and go in.

"Hello."
I bow and wait for my parents to notice my presence.
It takes them a few seconds but they notice me,
"Oh, you're here." My mother smiles and waves for me to get closer.
I walk over to her and she pats my head, "Good morning Tobio."
Maybe my mom isn't that bad, but my dad?
"Tobio we need to talk to you about something."
Straight to the point.

"Mhm, what is it that you need from
me?"
I didn't wake up early for a stupid reason did I?

"Well we got you a permanent guard."
A permanent guard? Why now though?
"Why?"
"Because I think it's time we let you be a little more free."
Doesn't answer my question,
"Why a permanent guard? I can be free on my own, I don't need anyone else to be with me."
My father frowned and looked back at his king paperwork.
"You are still young and dumb, we can't just let you go off on your own.  You also don't know anything about the outside world."

That's on you guys for not letting me leave this castle.

"Whatever, where is my guard?"
My mother smiled soften once looking at me and continued for father,
"He should be here any second now. Thank you for not putting up a fight Kageyama!"
Yeah I can count on my mom.
"Mhm."
We sit there in silence for a few minutes, even though they are my parents I feel awkward here. I barely talk to them and when I do it just has to do with castle stuff and stuff with being the prince.
The door opens and a dark hair guy comes in.

He looks intimidating... and I don't usually interact with people so this will be hard.
"Sorry I'm late your highness. I had some trouble on the way here."
Father looked up and looked the guard up and down.
"Tobio this will be your guard, Rintarou Suna. You guys can go now."
