If you see two updates notifications of the same chapter, that's normal, don't be alarmed because I normally publish a chapter once, then on the next week or so I edit it while I write the next chapter. ^^

With a snap of her fingers, a bunch of servants came over. Guang looked at them curiously. They were lugging over some kind of box.
The top part was covered with red velvet, the exposed bottom half was made with some kind of smoothly cut white stone. It was small enough to cover with your arms and hands. Yet another servant wheeled over a tall wooden box, a box that reached over to a person's waist.
They set the smaller box on top of the wooden box.
The cloth on the smaller box was removed, and everyone could see the big gem inside, seemingly clear, reflecting rainbow colored lights. It rested on top of a buff navy colored cloth and was covered with a lid made from some kind of rough glass. The lid was removed. The sunlight directly hit the crystal, and it started to sparkle.
Guang stood up, along with many other of his classmates. His knees felt a little weak. He had no idea what was going on. The princess gestured towards the shiny crystal. "You just have to touch it." she said softly.
A dream? A hidden camera YouTube stunt? Amusement park? His head was starting to get complicated. He walked over to her, but before he got anywhere near the gem, someone else got to it first. Guang showed a guarded expression.
"I'll go."
A male voice rang out in the hall. The king nodded in approval. Guang knew the owner of that voice. He let out a sigh. It was Jiwoo. He stepped up the platform and smirked confidently. As he laid his right hand on the crystal, a sudden light seemed to burst from it.
Guang had always known that the idiot was stupid, but he had never expected him to be this stupid. They had absolutely no knowledge of anything that was happening, but Jiwoo had volunteered himself to be their first victim.
Well, as long as it wasn't him.
There was a blue light, almost as if the kid just activated a hologram. A chart appeared, and it was filled with weird symbols and lines. Guang didn't recognize any of them. The two top sections of the chart was empty.
The princess looked on calmly. "Summoned," she asked, "What is your name?"
"Ji... Woo." He stammered.
The top blank part of the chart filled itself in.
"Do you accept our plea, do you pledge to follow the Will of Clarion?"
"Yes." Jiwoo answered, sounding a little excited. At once, the missing blanks of the hologram filled up completely, with no blank spots. He let out a gasp.
The crystal's light slowly faded, and the symbols disappeared.
"I can read it..." he murmured in disbelief. The other students were all silent, carefully watching Ji Han. "It turned into Korean!"
He looked at Princess Louise intently, excitedly, as if he was a little kid in Santa's toy shop."Is it... is it magic?"
She didn't answer and made a knowing smile. "Next."
A couple of servants accompanied the dazed Jiwoo out of the throne room. Guang wondered where they took him. In that time, somebody else stepped forward.
He had bright blonde hair and lightly colored skin. His eyes were blue. Guang recognized him. He was one of Jiwoo's goons.
The crystal glowed again, and the princess actually laughed warmly and clapped her hands. It was the first hint of emotion he had seen on her, Guang thought. The king sat up, taking his elbow off his throne's armrest.
