(I've attached another track for this chapter. Like last time, play it when you see the cue for it!)

"Those ninja will pay for ruining my plans!" the young boy whined, a hood covering the upper part of his head. He paused, looking back at Rin with a look of sorrow. "Uh..thanks for..saving me."

Rin placed her mace back on her back, fixing her hood. "Don't mention it," she replied. As evil and vile as she wished she was, youth was always a soft spot for her.

She began walking through the snow, with the boy jogging to keep up with her.

"So you're a skeleton, right? I bet you must have worked for my dad at one point," the boy spoke.

Rin turned to see the boy easily walking through the snow. She thought he would've been shivering, but he didn't seem to be all that cold. Still, his question caught her off guard. He must not have seen when my mask came off.

"Your..dad?" She asked.

"Yeah, Lord Garmadon! And I'm his son, Lloyd Garmadon, the next dark lord!" Lloyd expressed with a smile.

Rin cocked her head, unsure. Was Garmadon not a good guy? According to this boy, he seems like the opposite of what Wu apparently is. Perhaps he had a change of heart? she thought. And if that's so, he probably isn't near or even aware of the tomb's location.

"Once I release the serpentine, Ninjago will be all mine, and I can have all the candy in the world!" Lloyd continued, following his sentence with an attempt at evil laughter.

He wants to release the serpentine? Perhaps Destiny is on my side after all, and made it so I would meet this kid with evil intent, Rin thought on. If he's serious about releasing those beasts, then maybe that can be my distraction so I can look for the tomb.

"Your fighting back there was amazing, one guy vs four lame ninja? Your dark power was awesome!" Lloyd exclaimed.

"You seem to hate those ninja just as much as I do," Rin commented.

"They're my nemesis! I hate three things, and that's vegetables, girls, and ninja!" He replied. "A-and good, I hate good. Okay, four things! I hate four things!"

The second thing the boy labelled caught her off guard. "Girls, you say?"

"Yeah! They're all so icky and girly, with their pink clothes and makeup!" Lloyd expressed out of bitterness. "And plus, they can't fight!"

Rin smirked under her mask. I could make him shut up right now and blow his mind, she thought. But I've already built up his trust, why break it? I'll keep my identity a secret for longer, if it'll keep him quiet.

"Yeah..girls. Who needs them?" Rin agreed.

"Not us!" Lloyd said. "By the way, you never said your name!"

Rin's eyes darted around, needing to lie to the boy once more. "M-my name? Oh, yeah, it's uh...Ri-uh...R-Ren. Ren! My name is Ren!"

Lloyd glanced confusedly at the girl, but didn't question her odd tone.

I have got to stop creating fake identities for myself, she thought.

"Huh? I don't remember putting these here," Kai spoke, picking up the two dropped scrolls.

Zane approached the male, examining his bag. "That's Sensei's bag. You must've accidentally taken it in a rush."
