(1 month timeskip + Summative POV)
From the night Rin crossed into Ninjago, she had ventured off in search of where she'd be heading. Upon arriving, she gazed in the water at one point to view her reflection, a sight she hadn't seen in years. To her surprise, she appeared almost exactly as she did when she left, but what she wasn't used to were the markings surrounding her eyes. Cursed marks. Markings that showed how Rin belonged to The Preeminent, and how as long as those marks stood, she would be chained to a cursed fate. That is, at least, what she was told the marks meant for the other beholders of it.
She was in search of something, anything that would lead her to the tomb's location. Within this time, she never even encountered those ninja nor Wu, and hope was beginning to look depleted.
She eventually trekked through many areas and villages of Ninjago, all but looking for Jamanakai Village. She truly had nothing, no money, no transportation, and no one dared to talk to her, a cloaked figure with a skull mask. She had no map nor any guide to where she was going.
She truly was a lost soul.
(Current POV)
Rin walked up by some stairs, hiking up what appeared to be a mountain. She had just came from a village called Ignacia, and was hoping that she would be ever so closer to Jamanakai Village, but if anything, it only got her farther.
I wish I would've asked one of the ghosts where Jamanakai Village even was in the first place, she thought. But no! I just entered the realm without a second thought. Of course I'd be the one spirit who doesn't even know her way around Ninjago.
While Rin battled these thoughts in her mind, she approached a platform at the top of the mountain stairs. There wasn't much space on said platform, and further ahead, were some more stairs.
Suddenly, the calling of a male voice grabbed Rin's attention, as she turned around. Behind her, was a man dressed in a blue outfit, a bamboo hat and some glasses. He appeared quite a bit older in age, yet was able to run up the mountain steps quite easily.
"I've been following you for miles! I have a letter delivery!" he spoke, putting down a bag in front of him and digging through it.
"Letter delivery?" Rin spoke aloud, appearing more than confused. Confused, not just at someone finally willing to talk to her, but at the fact that someone sent her a letter. "Wh-wha- from who?! I don't even live here! Or know anybody! How can I have a delivery?!"
"It's a letter from Nuckal, addressed—" the man cut himself off, squinting at the envelope. "Wait, are you not Kruncha? Have I been following the wrong skeleton?"
Before Rin could ask, she remembered she still had her skull mask equipped. While she could take it off, she knew that keeping her identity hidden for as long as she could would likely be advisable.
"It appears so," she responded to his question.
"Well my mistake then, I'll be off!" He spoke as he turned around.
"Wait!" Rin called, stopping the man in his tracks. "Do you know your way around Ninjago?"
"Of course I do! I'm Ninjago's one and only postman, it's kind of part of the job," he replied.
"Could you tell me how to get to Jamanakai Village from here?" She asked.
He glanced with confusion at her. "Why, you're standing right in front of it!"
She jerked around, looking up above the stairs that lied in her way. Above, were some buildings, and she knew right then that a village resides above.
