CHAPTER 9

Sienna's POV

Feeling my heart break into a million pieces while Ted drives out of town. The hurt and betrayal that flashed in Williams eyes will stay with me and I can feel the bond slowly breaking.

"I think you're wrong, William will protect you. He is not known as the ruthless alpha because he plays with dolls you know" disapproval evident in his voice as he drives on the interstate.

"If I stay I risk the lives of many wolves. As an Alpha it is my duty to protect wolves, even if they are not in my pack" I sob as he grabs my hand

"No Sienna, as a mate it is his duty and life purpose to protect you" Ted rubs his thumb on the inside of my wrist while I turn towards the window and stare.

3 Hours later...

Can I really leave Texas, my mate and Sheila behind. Feeling empty and alone I know it's because of William. Feeling myself grow tired I close my eyes and lean back in the seat waiting for sleep to ease this pain.

TED'S POV

Seeing Sienna sob quietly while I drive further away from her mate is killing me. We might not be blood related but she is my little sister in all sense of the word. Looking over and seeing her asleep, I know that her heart is breaking and sleeping through it won't help her at all. Seeing movement in the tree line I tense.

Driving closer to the tree line I see William standing in the road with Anthony next to him behind them is over 300 warrior wolves. Slowing my truck down I stretch and nudge Sienna's shoulder causing her to wake up.

"What's wrong" She yawns and looks at me

"Uhh...you might want to look ahead" I start grinning and point towards the front.

"Oh my God, is that William and Anthony?" she moves her seat upright and gapes at the scene in front of truck.

I stop the truck and before I can answer her, her door opens and William pulls her into his arms.

"Sienna you will not leave me or Texas. You are my mate and the only one I will ever love. You cannot leave" I look at William as he pleads with Sienna and I can see how he loves her already. If she can just stop being so stubborn and allow William to help her then I can finally breath and stop worrying over her.

Sienna looks at me with pleading eyes, knowing her and her stubborn nature I look away before she can change my mind. I will not be helping her anymore, I have neglected my pack for the last few years to help her and I can't keep disappointing them. It's time to head home and lead my pack.

"I'm sorry love, I cannot help you anymore. Your mate is right, he can protect you better than I can. Don't think I'm running away or that I will never see you again, I love you Sienna, You have become my little sister and for that I will always be grateful but you need help to fight that bastard and I honestly believe William and his pack will fight till the end for you." I look at Sienna while William mouths 'thank you'. Leaving Sienna will be difficult but I know having the strongest warrior pack behind her she will be safe.

SIENNA'S POV:

Seeing William again and listening to his reasoning and all the ways that he will protect me, I cannot fathom the extent of his words.

When Ted starts talking about him leaving and how William can protect me better, I start silently crying. Why does my life have to be so fucked up. Can't Ted see that I would rather run for the rest of my life than endanger innocent people.

"Ted don't do this please?" I start sobbing as Ted turns to me and pulls me into his arms. He hugs me tight will I sob uncontrollable.

"Love, It's time to end this running. It's time to stop being scared and move on with your mate and new pack. I will only be a phone call away and if you need me here when that bastards comes just let me know and I will bring my strongest warriors and fight alongside you. I love you little one" He gives me a final squeeze and turns me around to William, who grabs me and hugs me tight.

"You are it for me, I cannot imagine a world without you Sienna. Look at all the warriors behind us baby. When I called and told them about the situation they all agreed to fight till the end for their Luna" I look up and see William pointing behind me with a proud gleam in his eyes.

I turn to look and see Anthony and around 300 men staring right at me.

"Why would they want to help me, they have never met me. What if they don't like me?" I whisper the last part and William just chuckles before grabbing my hand and walking towards the men.

"Blood Moon Pack, meet Sienna Willows. My mate and now your Luna" William pushes me in front of his chest while wrapping a protective arm around my waist.

Staring at the men in front of me and feeling nervous I try and turn into William's chest but his arm keeps me trapped.

One by one the men kneel down on one knee, when they have all kneeled they look up and in sync say "Luna Sienna, we pledge our loyalty and lives to you"

Feeling overwhelmed I start sniffing while tears run down my cheeks, William spins me around and runs his hands down my back before picking me up and walking me to Ted's vehicle.
