I'm back :)

So I've tried something new. Before when I was writing this story I would just open up Microsoft Word and write but now I've tried writing it into a notebook and I feel that is easier for me... :) So hopefully this is a bit better than the other chapters :)

Enjoy!

~Savannah's POV~

"Stay the hell away from me"

Well then.

I rolled my eyes at his dramatics as he stomped down the hall like a child throwing a tantrum. Walking back into class I muttered a small apology to my teacher before making a beeline back to my seat, ignoring all the curious stares from my classmates.

Sitting down in my seat I let my head drop down and pretended to be interested in the small carvings in the wooden desk. I could still feel eyes boring into my skin but they soon dispersed when the teacher barked at them for not paying attention.

I felt a small poke on my shoulder and turned to face a very curious Tess. Damn, I'd completely forgotten about her.

"What was that all about?" She whispered. Her eyes were big with awe.

"I'll tell you at lunch" I said giving her a reassuring smile.

Getting a small excited nod from Tess we went back to paying attention to our teacher who was telling us how the Egyptians would prepare a body for burial. I loved Ancient History, it was so fascinating.

An hour later the bell went class. I got up and walked side-by-side with Tess out into the hallway.

"I'm so hungry" I moaned wishing that I had a cheeseburger in my hand.

"The cafeteria is just down the hall" Tess laughed earning a groan from me.

"But that's so far away"

"You're joking, right?"

"Carry me"

"Oh my god, you're serious"

Tess linked her arm with mine and practically dragged me down the hall. Not that I was complaining. The quicker I got food into my belly, the better.

Walking into the cafeteria with Tess, my eyes scanned my surroundings looking for Tom.

"Savie! Over here!" I laughed as my eyes snapped over to Tom who was flailing his arm around.

"Come on" I said grabbing Tess' hand pulling her towards him.

Sitting down in the not so comfortable chair my mouth started to water with the smell that was wafting from the buffet area.

"Savie, just go and get something to eat before you start drooling" Smiled Tess earning her a laugh from Tom.

I was out of my seat before either of them could mutter another word.

Lining up in the queue my nose was in heaven. I could see hotdogs, hamburgers, salads, spaghetti etc. I grimaced at the thought of what I would be eating if I were at my old school. Maybe an unknown meat the smelt and looked like vomit.

Picking up a hotdog, salad and bottle of water I paid the lunch lady before heading back towards Tom and Tess.

"And then she walked back into the classroom like nothing even happened" I heard Tess say to Tom.
