chapter 2

Claire got out of her car went to glorias house. She was just about to ring the bell when gloria opened the door: "oh hi claire! I was about to get the last package and watch a movie.. do you want to join?" claire agreed and both went in. glorias new house was small but cute. Claire really liked how gloria decorated it. After claire sat down on the little couch, gloria brought some champaign to celebrate the day. Gloria put on the movie and they both enjoyed their champaign while watching it. 30 minutes later gloria got up to get something out of the kitchen. As gloria came back a love scene of two girls came up on the tv. Claire was thinking about what her mom said and was kinda nervous while watching the same. She looked up to gloria, who was sitting on the couch and drinking her champaign. Now claire was just staring at her glass. She didn't realize that gloria was looking at her. Claire looked to gloria again but now they made eye contact. "do you think this would work out?", gloria asked. Claire still thinking about her mom and that she finds gloria attractive answered confused: "uhh, Im sorry what did you just say?" "do you think 2 girls work out together?" gloria repeated. Claire who was looking into glorias hazel eyes answered: "sure, why not? I mean they like each other right?"

"right, they do", Gloria answered and took another sip from her champaign. Claire was still looking at gloria. She saw that gloria had a little drop of champaign on her lips. She got closer to glorias face, so that she could feel her breath, and couldn't help herself. She tasted the champaign when she touched glorias lips with hers. Did claire just kiss gloria? As soon as she realized claire got up from the couch and apologized: "omg gloria- im so so so sorry.. I didn't mean to but I couldn't help myself! Im so so so sorry! I should leave no-"

It might be the effect of the champaign but claire wasn't able to finish her sentence because gloria just kissed claire. Claire looked into glorias eyes and got up. "im sorry but I have to leave now," claire said, still confused and ashamed of herself. Claire went to the door and left before gloria could say anything.
