As Morgan grabs the books and starts in a different direction, Dean holds back for a second, grabbing his brother by the shoulder. He has a sceptical look on his face, "Sam, are you serious?"
Sam furrows his brows, "What?! I have a bad feeling about her..."
Dean smirks and wiggles his fingers, in mockery of his brother, "Oh, is your voodoo kicking in? I thought you were done with that after we put Luci back in his hole,"
Sam rolls his eyes and grunts at him, "Can you just take this seriously for five minutes?"
Seeing that his brother wasn't gonna budge, Dean sighs, "Whatever, come on." He shoulders his bag before following in the direction the kid went.

When dumb and dumber finally catch up with me, I'm still talking with the librarian: A heavyset black lady, with an obnoxious coloured lipstick to match her even wilder outfit. She was someone who would offer you cookies one minute, but beat you with a spoon for something disrespectful the next. She was talking to me about something, her son winning some award or whatever. To be honest, I had zoned out as soon as she started talking.
When the boys walk up she nods towards them and offers her best smile, despite her body stiffening. "Who's this?"
I hesitate, trying to come up with a believable lie on the spot. Something I wasn't used to since I either worked with Bobby or alone. "Oh! Um... These are my uncles, Seb and... Dom!"
The librarian raises one of her hairy caterpillar eyebrows, "You've never mentioned your mother having siblings-"
I smile, trying to keep my cool, "Yeah they're um... friends of the family. Not together by blood."
I could have sworn I saw her eyes glass over as she said, "Okay then sweetheart, you can go on." She nods to the spiral staircase behind her.
It leads up to a small landing, about half the size of the motel I was staying at. It had half a dozen small bookshelves and a single table surrounded by multiple lights. I was the only one allowed up here so it was the perfect place to talk about "hunter stuff".
Sam must have noticed the altercation with the librarian, "What was that all about?" He asked as soon as he sat down.
I sigh, "Everyone in this town... I think they're onto me." I lean forward, "They all act as if their mind is controlled and they have to keep an eye on me." I nod down at the librarian below us, "She's one of them. Usually, if I tell them to do something they will, so I never really mind with them..."
Dean falls in a chair beside me with a thump, "So why didn't you just tell them to leave?"
Leaning back, I roll my eyes, "Thank you Sherlock but I've tried that already... Doesn't work."
Sam scratches his head and pulls open a book from Dean's bag: a leather-bound that was basically busting at the seams, barely holding its pages in. He pauses at a certain page, "Is any of your family greek or roman?"
My eyebrows furrow, "My mom was a little bit greek, but she never talked about it-"
Sam shows the page to his brother, "That explains the bloodline-"
Bloodline?
Dean strokes his jaw, "But why would she want to end it? Assuming that it's a she again, like last time."
End what?
Sam turns to me, ignoring my obviously confused face, "Do you have a brother? Younger, maybe?"
Still confused, I answer, "Yeah... why?"
Dean smacks the table and points to the journal, "Heir-"
Sam nods, apparently thinking the same thing, "Exactly." He scowls, "But how does this relate to the ghosts she's seeing? Sirens are greek, but ghosts are normally roman." He thinks again for a moment before shaking his head, "Well..."
Dean glances toward me but I only shrug, it's not like I had any idea what was going on, "What?" He asks.
Sam mentions something about kings, medieval times, and affairs with sirens. Even more confused, I look back to Dean for help.
He waves the both of us aside, "No you idiot. Whoever is mind-controlling is obviously the source of all this-"
"And they're not happy about the mom dying and taking it out on her. And in the process trying to get the brother on the throne." Sam finishes the thought.
Dean shoots him two finger guns, "Exactamundo."
Eventually, I can't take it anymore, I wave my hands in front of both of their faces, "Hello-o! I'm still here!" I drag out the words to get their attention, "Did you not hear anything I was saying?"
Dean looks at me puzzled, apparently not, "What?"
"My brother is dead."
They both freeze, waiting for me to elaborate.
I really set myself up for that one, didn't I?
I slouch in my chair and sigh, "Mom always told me that she fled to America with my dad to have kids. She always called me her princess but that was just a nickname she gave me as a kid..."
A silent glance passes between the boys, once again not telling me a thing.
I huff, "And in case you haven't noticed, there's already a king of Greece."
Sam chuckles and waves me aside, "Doesn't matter. Royal blood is still royal blood."
I make a time-out sign with my hands, "Wait, wait, wait. You're telling me I'm related to the king of Greece?" My voice raises a couple of octaves. "There's no way I'm actually royalty... Hell, for the past couple of years I've been living in a scrap yard and shitty motels."
Sam pulls out a laptop from his brother's bag and makes a couple of quick searches, "If I'm right, you're his... 4th cousin."
"What?!"
---
After a couple more minutes the trio decided to head back to the motel with the research they've collected. Morgan's shocked face travels out the door and all the way back to the car, still processing what the boys had told her earlier.
With a sarcastic bow, Dean opens Morgan's door with a 'Your majesty,'
She tells him to screw off and gives him a decent push.
Laughing, he and Sam hop in the car. He fires up the car and heads back in the direction of the motel.
As he rounds another corner, something catches the corner of Morgan's eye. She turns in her seat for a second look, before her eyes fly open in shock and her whole body goes rigid.
