Dean throws a glance towards me as he gets the meds, "Dark green? Isn't dark green iron?"

I scoff, "Yeah ya idjit, I'm anaemic... What'd you think it was?"

He gives me a look, "We literally work with demonic possession on an almost daily basis."

I nod my head, "Touchè,"

Sam, head still in the fridge, yells back at me, "Uh, Morgan? There's nothing in here besides something that faintly resembles Chinese take out."

Damn. "Looks like I'm taking the pills dry then,"

Dean makes a face, "What? Hell no!" He pockets the med container he finally found, and holds out his arm for me, "Can you stand?"

It takes me a couple of tries but I manage. "What is it?" I ask, still holding on to him for support, "Why won't you give me the pills?"

Dean sighs and looks at Sam. They both nod in some kind of silent agreement, as if they were having a mental conversation just between the two of them. I really hated when they did that.

"Well, first I'm not gonna let you dry swallow your meds." Dean matter-of-factly states, "We're not gonna let you choke on your pills and die. Second, I'm hungry," He nods towards his brother, "Sam's always hungry, and I bet you haven't had much today so you're probably hungry too."

I don't argue, it was true. It takes me a second to remember what I had for breakfast, or for lunch, but I came up empty-handed; I hadn't had anything to eat today. "Fine," I huff sarcastically, "Only because you said so, DAD."

Dean smiles and leads me to the door, helping me walkout. He calls over his shoulder, "Okay Sammy, I got Haley Joel, you get the door and lock it."

Sam smiles and shakes his head, "You got it, boss."

The two Winchester boys and Morgan make their way back down the motel stairs, Dean continuing to help the girl walk since she was still wobbly. She trips down the last two stairs and curses at the idjit in the leather jacket beside her. She shoots a handful of colourful insults his way and complains once again why she couldn't just take her medication dry.

But the short one only smiles and bites his tongue from saying anything rude back. It was obvious that the girl just needed some food and water in her and she would be right back to normal.

The younger brother only laughs at the two of them, noting once again how they were so alike, and argued like father and daughter.

They both tell him to stuff it where the sun doesn't shine.

Eventually, they all make it to the impala. Dean finally hands Morgan off to Sam, so he can help her in the passenger side while he cranks the car. Morgan tries to shove him off and almost hits her head on the roof of the car, fortunately though, Sam is there to catch her as he helps her in with a sigh.

With the cassette tape volume turned down out of courtesy and no sightings of any more dead relatives on the street, they all make it to the local diner safely.

After multiple protests, Morgan makes her way into the diner without someone holding her arm to make sure she doesn't pass out again. Regardless, she's flanked by both boys, Sam in front and Dean protectively behind her, just in case.

They grab their menus from the counter at the front and seat themselves. They choose a booth in the back corner for privacy.

Morgan refuses to say a single word to either of them before the waiter brings her the water she ordered. She holds out her hand to Dean and he rolls his eyes, handing her the medicine bottle. She pulls out one, then changes her mind and pulls out a second. She pockets the bottle and the waiter is back a couple of minutes later to take their food orders.
