The Greatest Swordsman REWRITE(DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 4

*(Y/n)'s pov*

It's been several weeks since classes officially started at Beacon Academy. I was currently in combat class with Ammie, Ash, and Adriana. Jaune was currently sparring with Cardin Winchester that jacka** who I encountered on the first day of school. Jaune was doing a very poor job of fending off Cardin who was easily blocking and countering every move Jaune made. How did someone like Jaune make it into this place! It's almost like he's never even had any combat training! I thought to myself as I watched the fight. It wasn't long before Jaune was knocked away by Cardin and the match was ended by the buzzer as Cardin was readying to deliver the final blow. Cardin walked over to one side of the arena and Jaune just sat up where he was as Goodwitch explained details about how the measuring of ones aura will be used during the Vytal Festival. I stopped listening after that though as I had no interest in the Vytal Festival. After all I doubt there's any students in the festival who could give me a good fight. Not long after that though the school bell rang and class was over.

Now it was time for lunch and we were sitting with team RWBY and JNPR. Nora was currently telling a story and Ren was making corrections to her story, however I wasn't really interested in her story and focused on eating. Ash and Adriana were also showing no interest in the story but Ammie was listening to her story. After the story though I heard Pyrrha and Ruby asking Jaune if he was okay and then their conversation turned to Cardin and that's when I heard a familiar laugh and I look up and see him and his goons bullying Velvet again so I stood up from my seat catching the others off guard as I spoke. "Oi!? Do I need to come over there and remind you morons about not interrupting my meal?!" I said and the four of them instantly went ghost white and looked at me before running off in a panic. I sighed softly and sat back down as Velvet grabbed her tray of food and walked over to us. She smiled at me. "Thanks for the help again (Y/n)!" She said smiling at me and I looked up at her and nods. "No problem Velvet." I said smiling slightly and Ammie smiled and looked at Velvet. "Care to join us?" Ammie asked and Velvet smiled and nods. "I'd love too....." She said before growing quiet and looking a little dejected and looking at team RWBY and JNPR. "But is it okay with everyone if I sit with you guys?" She said meekly and Ruby smiled at her. "I don't have any problem with it." She said smiling and Pyrrha smiled at Velvet as well. "Please sit. You're more than welcome to join us!" She said smiling and Velvet smiled more and nodded and sat down with us.

We continued our lunch but Ruby and Pyrrha continued to try and get Jaune to open up to them but he just acted like nothing was going on and left the table. After lunch we headed to History class where Oobleck started talking about the war for Faunus rights. As he was giving his lecture he stopped to ask if any students have been mistreated because of their heritage and I saw Velvet sheepishly raise her hand and a few other students did too. Though I noticed that a few of them were surprised to see that Ammie, Ash, and Adriana didn't raise their hands. It's not really surprising to me though seeing as how Ammie is a goddess and as for Ash and Adriana they'd just beat up or even kill anyone who messes with them. Ash and Adriana can be very scary when they're mad and are more dangerous then anyone in the White Fang! Even that swordsmen Adam Taurus. Though I wouldn't expect anything less from some of Mihawk's subordinates! Oobleck continued his lecture and I yawned slightly. I looked towards Ammie thinking she had fallen asleep during class but was surprised to find that she was actually listening to the lecture. 

Though now that I think about it she was stuck as a statue for several centuries so I'm guessing she wants to familiarize herself with recent events in history. Soon class ended and everyone was dismissed except for Jaune and Cardin who were kept in class longer so Oobleck can talk to them about their attitudes in class. After Oobleck's class, classes were over for the day so I headed to our dorm room. Ammie, Ash, and Adriana followed me. I laid down on my bed and Ammie laid down next to me. Ash pulled out a carton of cigarettes and went over to the window where she opened the window and started smoking. Adriana went over to a desk and moved all the books to the side and started sharpening her sword. We spent the rest of the day in our room.
