It has been a month since, Graham and I date night. It was the first day he told me he loved me. I lay in my bed at home, trying to catch up on some sleep. I've been very tired and sick lately my nipples have grown to the size of a avocado seed. Well maybe not an avocado seed that's a little too extreme. My alarm goes off and I sigh, turning it off.
There's a soft knock at my door,"Kyrie."
The voice belonged to my sister Faye.
"Come in."
I lay on my back rubbing my very upset stomach as Faye walked in and sat on the edge of my bed.
"You look gross Ky." Faye says, moving my bang from my forehead.
"Well thank you for that lovely compliment Faye and Good morning to you to."
"Afternoon Ky, it's twelve o'clock."
I look over at the clock and groan as I felt my mouth water,"I'll be back."
I jump up and run into the bathroom throwing up everything in my stomach.
What the hell is wrong with me?, I thought
I look into the mirror, I have bags under my eyes. Deep dark circles underneath them as well. Gurgling some Listerine I head back to my room laying on my back once again.
"Have you missed your period?" Faye asked.
"No, I've had a little blood here and there. Maybe because I've been sick for a month now." I shrug.
"Or, maybe because your pregnant." Faye said.
"Can't be. it maybe food poisoning?" I say.
"Or you can be pregnant."
"Or, bad sushi"
"Or you can be pregnant."
"Why! Are you so sure that I'm pregnant when I know I'm not." I said.
"Have you taken the test?" Faye questions with a cocked eyebrow.
"No."
"So, how do you know if your pregnant or not?" Faye said.
"Valid point." I nod.
I stand to put on a pair of black spandex and a regular white wife beater and white flip flops.
"Where are you going?" Faye asked.
"WE'RE going to the hospital." I say putting my hair in a low pony tail.
"Graham's hospital?"
I nod,"Kyrie that's stupid. Graham's gonna know your pregnant."
"Faye I'm not pregnant we do not know that yet." I say, grabbing my purse and car keys thanks to Graham, he bought me a white bwm."Besides I know his schedule. He doesn't work today."
I look over at her,"Ready?"
"Yes." Faye nods.
We speed walk out of the house before Nona or mama had the chance to stop us and ask where we were headed.
"Would you slow down Kyrie. Your gonna get a ticket."
"Excuse me, are you dead?" I asked, parking in my parking spot at the hospital.
Faye and I get out and there Rachael stood.
Great she's here, I thought.
"Hey, Kyrie Graham isn't here I'll call him to-"
