-4 years old-
"Mother? Where is Father?" Little me asked
We were walking around the village of Light Kingdom, my small hands being held by her larger ones
"Your father is already in heaven, sweetie. He saved someone else's life in exchange for his but because he did a good thing, he was rewarded to be an angel" Mother explained to little me
I was still so young and naïve that time but one thing I know is that Father wouldn't come back to us anymore
-5 years old-
"Welcome to your new family, Sohee" Light King said as little me look at him with bright, wide eyes
"So you are my new father?" Little me asked excitedly
"Yes, sweetie, he's your new father" Mother confirmed, giggling quietly as I ran and hug his leg
-7 years old-
"Sohee-ah, come here for a while" Prince Jacob, my eldest step-brother, beckoned
"What is it, brother?" Young me asked, walking up to him
It was my 7th birthday party, and my 2nd year as a "princess" in the Light Kingdom
"Turn around and close your eyes, no peeking, okay?" Jacob oppa said as I complied without questions
"You can open it now" Jacob oppa said as I turn around in confusion
"Do you like it?" Jacob oppa asked
"Like what?" I asked
"The necklace, dear sister" Jacob oppa chuckled as my eyes widen and I quickly grasp the pendant on my neck
"It's beautiful, brother, thank you" I said, hugging him
"You're welcome, little sis" Jacob oppa said
