Izuku was just mad at this point. And it was clear on his face when Miko showed up at his apartment and rung his doorbell. It'd been roughly a month and a half since they last got to hang out, and almost two weeks since they last spoke on the phone.
She smiles sheepishly as she lifts up the movie box in her hands, "I brought all the All Might movies and documentaries..."
Izuku keeps a frown for a moment before stepping out the way and allowing her in. "My mom is out with a friend tonight."
"Ah, good for her. She hadn't gone out in a while, huh?"
He shrugs, "She was too worried about me but since I'm home much less, she decided to start going out more."
"Hmm? School lets out late?"
"Yeah... but I usually hang out with my friends afterwards."
Miko smiles, "Good! I'm glad you're putting yourself out there!"
Izuku stays quiet for a moment, then sighs, "The only reason I didn't before was because I was bullied, Miko. You make it sound like I had a choice."
She sweatdrops at his tone, "Er... I didn't mean it like that."
"Like what? Like you aren't glad that I finally have friends other than you? But, hey, at least you came over for once to make sure I actually do have people to talk to while you were out dilly-dallying and ignoring my texts and calls."
"I'm sorry, Izuku, I've been busy with—"
"Your boyfriend, I know." Izuku cuts her off with a tired sigh, "It's whatever. I just would've appreciated a call or two to make sure you were doing okay."
"He isn't my boyfriend... but anyway, how are you and Uraraka?"
Irritation fills Izuku's mind once again while he sits on the couch beside her and picks up the remote. "Fine."
"You finally asked her out?"
"No."
"Why not? C'mon, Izu." Miko pokes Izuku's shoulder, "Don't pass up this perfect opportunity to—"
"Oh my fucking gosh, can you just drop it? What's your deal with trying to get me to date, anyway?"
"What is up with you?" She retorts, "You've acted like this last time we talked, too. Why're you so damn irritable?"
"Because I don't want to date Uraraka and you aren't getting the hint! She's my friend, that's it."
"I was just worried about you! Not to sound mean, but this is the first time you have friends! I just want you to live up the experience to the fullest. Friends, a girlfriend, even an evil arch nemesis that eventually becomes your best friend!"
"I don't need a girlfriend to enjoy my high school experience!"
"It would be nice though—" Miko gasps, "Unless I've been reading it all wrong and you're not even into girls! Do you like boys?"
"No!" Izuku practically screeches. "I don't like boys, I don't like Uraraka, I like— just forget it, okay? I'm sick of this stupid topic."
"You like...? Who?! Who, who, who?! You like someone, Izuku? Then ask her out!" Miko exclaims, excitement taking over.
"I'm not—"
"Don't be a wimp! Just go up to her and say—"
"I like you, dammit!"
