A Bond that has Broken

Prologue

"Hey Tommy?" Tubbo said looking over at his friend who was sitting next to him on the bench. "What's up Tubbo?" Tommy asked in response to Tubbo. "Would you ever betray me?", he asked as the wind blew on their faces. "Of course not!", Tommy said looking at Tubbo shocked, "What would make you ask such a stupid question?"

Tubbo looked up at the faint yellowish orange sky, "I don't know, just asking..."

Tommy smiled at Tubbo, "Tubbo, you're my best friend, I could never lose you. You know that-" He said putting his hand on Tubbo's shoulder. Tubbo smiled gently and let out a sigh.

"Tommy, you promise?" He said as they watched the sun fall. "Promise." Tommy said focusing his attention back on the yellow fading sky.

As the sky turned dark blue and the moon and stars began to rise, Tommy stood up and caught Tubbo's gaze. "I think its about time we head home Big T." Tubbo didn't respond to his friend. "Tubbo?" Tommy asked looking quite puzzled. "Tommy, just a few more minutes? Please?" Tubbo asked, finally glancing back at Tommy. Tommy let out a sigh, "Of course." He sat back down on the bench and glanced at the bright yellow and white stars.

A shooting star zoomed across the sky. "Tommy look! A shooting star! Make a wish, hurry!" Tommy was startled at his friends sudden act of enthusiasm. 'I wish for our friendship to never end' Tommy thought to himself. "Soo, what did ya wish for?" Tubbo said with excitement in his eyes. "Oh nothing, just to have all my disks with me." Tubbo rolled his eyes, "That's literally all you talk about now. Disks, disks, disks." He said laughing a little. Tommy laughed a little too. "Eh its just a wish anyways."

Tommy felt a little guilty about lying to his friend, but he didn't want to seem too soft. "Uh, Tubbo, I think I'm gonna start heading home." He said standing up to leave. "Okay, night Tommy." Tubbo said standing up to leave too. "Night Big T." The two went their separate ways.

The thing is, these two didn't know what big situation would occur in their relationship in the next few weeks. Something that would cause them to split and go their own ways for what seemed like forever.
