Zoe's P.O.V
"Are you sure you really, really, really want to do this?"
I roll my eyes and look over at Alex, who's looking at me anxiously.
"Yes, Al, I'm sure I really, really, really want to do this."
"But do you need to do this?"
"AL!" I snap at her and she jumps back slightly. "Look, don't be so scared, it's not like we're going to get caught!" She sighs back.
"But it's the biggest party in the town, someone from our school has to be there - other than us!" I smile at her devilishly.
"Now, Al, so if you're at a party, and you rat on someone you see at the part, doesn't that mean you have to have been at the party too?" Realisation crawls slowly over her face and my smile turns to a grin.
"Come on, you won't even drink so what's the problem?" She sighs back.
"You'll drink! And I'll have to deal with you!"
I scoff at her. "I just get really hyper when I drink, just be glad I don't get emotional."
Alex groans. "Let's just get in there." I cheer loudly and climb out of my dad's car, wobbling slightly in my heels.
"Okay, stop." Alex snaps as I go to take a wobbly heels. "I'm down with you throwing away your families reputation, and letting your inner 'wild child' out. I'm down with that, but those heels, nope not happening." I roll my eyes but I know she's right. I tug open the back door to the car and kick my heels into it, pulling a pair of vans on.
"Better?" Alex asks smiling.
"Better." I admit. "Good, now come on, all the hot guys will be taken if we don't hurry up!" She grabs my hand suddenly and drags me towards the door.
"You're such a slut." I tease and she presses her finger against her lips and whispers, "Shush."
We knock on the door, awaiting the door to open into the huge mess of a party. It's the biggest, loudest and most popular party in town. It happens every year, a welcome back party if you must. I'm not sure who's house it is, and I don't really care, I just want to get pissed off of my head, kiss like seven guys and trash the stupid reputation my parents had built up for me over the years.
The good girl. The one who goes to church every Sunday. The one with the best grades. The virgin.
I hate it. I hate hate hate, hate it. I'm sick of being the town goodie goodie. I'm sick of falling into line behind my parents when they volunteer to help at, well at anything. I don't want to be the girl people look at and think I'm a party pooper. Because trust me I'm not.
The door suddenly swings open, and a boy stands there a beer bottle in hand. "Ladies!" He greets loudly. His eyebrows then wrinkle. "Westfield girls, huh?" A drunked grin is plastered across his face and he gestures for us to come in. So we do.
"Pete." He grins and holds out his hand.
"Alex." Alex says shaking his hand with a flirtatious smile that he catches almost immediately. "And I'm Zoe, and I'll be over here."
Alex gives me a cheeky smile before she turns and follows Pete into the main living room. The first thought that pops into my head, is to find the drinks. And where else is the best place to check other than the kitchen. So I wander into the kitchen, just as a cheer goes up calling for shots.
Standing around the kitchen island is four boys. Each a shot glass to their lips. The blonde, tall one, holds a bottle of vodlka in his hand and they drain their glasses instantly. There's a clatter as they slam their glass back down.
