Chapter 16: Exams and Professor Trelawney's prediction

AN: this chapter I will not be explaining what they did through each exam cuz if you have read the books or even seen the movies you would know what happens in the exams. and sorry it took so long for updating I have been really really busy lately with school and personal issues thanks for waiting so patiently for meh to update love NiallsGurl1995 :)

Harry and Athena's euphoria at finally winning the Quiditch cup lasted at least a week. Even the weather seemed to be celebrating; as June approched, the days became cloudless and sultry.  All anybody felt like doing was strolling into the grounds and flopping down on the grass with serveral pints of iced pumpkin juice, perhaps playing a casual game of Gobstones; or watching the giant squid propel itself dreamily across the surface of the lake. But they couldn't.

The exams were upon them, and instead of lazing around outside they were stuck inside of the castle, trying to bully their brains into concentrating while inticing wafts of summer air drifted in through the windows.

 Even Fred and George Weasley had been spotted working; they were about to take their O.W.Ls. Percy was taking his sixth year exams. As Percy hoped to enter the ministry of magic he needed top grades. He was  becoming edgy and gave very savere punisments to anybody who disturbed the quiet of the common room in the evenings. In fact the only people who seemed more anxious than Percy was Hermione and Athena. Harry and Ron had given up asking them how they were managing to attend several classes at once, but they couldn't restrain themselves when they saw the schedule the girls drew up for their exams.

Harry asked Athena how the heck are you going to be in two exams at the same time. Athena said don't worry about it we got it covered and kissed him on the cheek. Exam week began and an unnatural hush fell over the castle the third years emerged from transfiguration at lunch time. After a hasty lunch they ran up to the charms room for that exam they were tested on the cheering charm like the girls said Harry and Ron partnered up and Harry put a little bit excitement into it and Ron had to get put in a silent room till he calmed down enough to cast the spell on Harry.

Then after that exam the third years ran to their common rooms not to relax but to revise for their care of magical creatures exam the next morning. The next morning they went to their care of magical creatures exams they were to keep a flobberworm alive for a hour. They had potions that afternoon since professor Snape had not been horrible to Harry that term he did actually pretty good this term so Snape needn't to breathe down Harry's neck.  The golden quatret finished first and got full marks. Snape let them leave after they were done.

Athena said see you later professor.
Snape smiled and said bye Miss Black. The other students looked up from their exams just in time to see Athena smiled back and leave Snape sneered at the other students to get back to their exams. you could hear the golden Quatret chuckle quietly.  Snape just shook his head. The other third years got done their potions and left the classroom.

 Then they went to their common rooms till their astronomy exam at midnight. They went to the exam and when they finished the exam and went back to their common rooms to get some shut  eye for their wensday exams. which were History of magic in which Harry just scribbled down everything Floren Fortescue told him about medieval witch hunts.  He was wishing he could have been enjoying one of his choco-nut sundaes with him in this stiffiling classroom. Then in the afternoon they had their herbology exam which meant they would be under the baking hot sun. The students then went back to their common rooms with a sunburnt neck, thinking longingly of this time tommorow the exams would be over.

Thursday morning brought their DADA exam and professor Lupin set up an obstacle course with the creatures they learnt throughout the year. Harry and Ron's last exam was Divination and the girls last exam was muggle studies. After lunch they headed to their exams the girls leaving the guys on the first floor and the guys headed towards the north tower they saw the line up and walked up. Neville said she's seeing us seperately. Opening unfoging the future to  do some last minute studying the line shortened.

Neville said the crystal ball told her that if I said anything I will be in a terrible accident. Harry said what a coindence. Ron said im starting to think the girls were right that she is a straight up fraud. Harry nodded his head and said yeah. Professor Trelaweny said Ronald Weasley.

Ron grimaced at Harry and headed up the sprial staircase. Twenty minutes later Ron's big feet came down the stairs Harry asked how'd it go he asked him. Ron said rubbish couldn't see a thing so I just said random things, I don't think she bought it though. meet you in the common room. the professor called Harry Potter. Trlawney said good day dear if you would gaze into the orb... take your time, now then tell me what you see within it... Harry bent over the crystal ball and Trelawney said well what do you see.

Harry said a dark shape. she asked what is the shape of it. Harry said it's in the shape of a rat. she asked does it seem to be normal. Harry said no it looks like it is in pain.

Trelawney said anything else dear. Harry said nope professor. Trelawney said okay you may go. then she went into a trance. Harry got up and grabbed his bag. Then the professor said in a harsh voice It will happen tonight ' the dark lord lies alone and friendless, abondened by his followers.

His servant has been chained these past twelve years, tonight his servant will break free and set out to rejoin his master. The dark lord will rise again with the aid, greater more terrible then before. tonight...before midnight... the servant... will set out... to... rejoin his master.
