First of all, this is not what he signed up for. He was damn sure when he accepted the scholarship he would be placed in grade 4 but why the fuck the principal is leading him to the 5-A class. He is freaking out, legit freaking out. Maybe the principal saw his face doing exactly that because the man is currently offering him a reassuring smile.

The principal stops in front of the class and knock the door before opening it, "Mrs. Boonsri, can I talk to you please?" he said.

The female teacher who was talking in front of the class hurriedly walks up to the principal with fearful expression.

"What are you making that face for? I assure you it's nothing bad," as the principal laughed, he puts his right hand on Mrs. Boonsre's shoulder.

"This is Metawin Opas-Iamkojorn and he will be the new student of this class. He is this year's scholarship receive. He is only 16 years old but his examination result was outstanding so I think we should let him skip a grade. Please take care of him," the principal told the teacher. He felt his right arm being grabbed by the principal, he doesn't hate physical touches but it is making him uncomfortable. The school surely is something with overly rich kids and a very friendly principal, he felt like he is in some kind of Korean drama where the principal was corrupted by politics and money but he thinks this won't be far off. He covered his thoughts with a tiny smile before bowing to his soon-to-be homeroom teacher.

"Oh that's great! I hope he can adapt to the syllabus quickly and catch up," Mrs. Boonsri said. He smells danger from her tone, this teacher must be that kind of teacher who will push their students in academic and it's not even in a good way. Just the type that would belittle people and give the most and the hardest assignments when they can barely teach their subject.

Great! he doesn't even know this teacher personally but he is already being a judgemental biatch. Damn, he hates it this school already.

It's not like he is bad in his study, he excels in it even. Having an IQ higher than most does not mean he is the type to put education above everything. If he has to rank the most importan thing in his life, studying is not even in his top three. He would not deny that education is important and it is literally the main reason he accepted the scholarship but he doesn't want to live in environment that will make him feel forced to receive education instead of an environment where he feels he can enjoy learning.

"He got full marks in every exams and we tested his IQ, he got 149 marks which is outstanding. I am sure he will fit right in," the principal reassures and smiles sweetly before continuing, "I hope you will take care of him,".

Mrs. Boonsri smiles at him, "Sure sure. I would be glad if he is a part of my class,".

"That's good to hear. I'll get going now," the principal turns towards him, "I hope you will study hard and make us proud,". He gave a firm pat on Win's shoulder before principal walking away.

"Now Metawin, come on in," his teacher invited him into the classroom. He walks as casually as he can even though his anxiety is spiking through the roof. His hands are sweating and he knows everyone has his eyes on him.

"Everyone, this is Metawin Opas-Iamkojorn and he is a scholarship student. He's a year younger than you guys so please play nice with him okay," Mrs. Boonsri introduced him. A bunch of ooh's and ahh's filled the class. Some muffled words can be heard too but the loudest he can hear to is someone snickering. He searches for the source and he can't believe what he is seeing. His eyes almost bulge out when he sees the Heathers. Yes he calls them Heathers because they are acting like mythic bitches and Heathers is a lot easier to say than Mean Girls so yeah three Heather are sitting in the same class as him. Lady luck is putting a cherry on top of his dairy-free sundae. Sounds delicious isn't it? Point is he hates alternative milk so no, the analogy is disgusting.

"Aww the commoner is in this class. Must be a big nerd," he heard Cherry said. First of all, he does not take offence in that as a nerd is better than a no-brainer like her. Secondly, if you see a middle-class student in an elite school would you think they get into the school by money? Obviously they get into the school by scholarship! Now he is the one who is judging wether this fucking bitch should be in this class or not. This girl should just sign up for a drama class instead because she looks like someone who craves drama.

"Okay guys shut up. How about we let Metawin introduces himself," the teacher shushed the class, calming them down a little bit. Good for her because the class did quiet down but he is the one who is suffering because he thinks his information is not necessary for his 3 now 2 years education in this school. He just wants to survive this school quietly without being noticed.

He inhales a deep breath, "My name is Metawin Opas-Iamkojorn. I am 16 and you can call me Win," he said. The class seems interested enough in him, some boys even whisper to each other while making suggestive eyes. 'Urgh digusting' Win thinks, his stomach churns a little bit.

"A little bit about yourself maybe? Like hobbies or your parents' occupations?" as he predicted, the teacher asked him about his family's income. His conclusion is that the parents' occupations are important in this school.

"My dad is a teacher and my mom is a housewife. And if anyone is interested in my hobby, I like to play soccer," he hesitantly added the last part, knowing no one will care about it. He knows that everyone is only curious about the first part and never the second. He is proud of his parents's works. His father is a good educator and very dedicated to it. His mom takes care of them and educate them at home. They are the best parents he can ask for so he will be proud to tell the world.

The room is now filled with snickers, some scoffed and if they did not let out a sound, mocking smiles and smirks would etch on their face. He knows they are mocking his parents and not the fact he likes soccer.

"Can't believe he really is a commoner. I thought maybe his father owns a little company at least," he heard a boy said.

"Are you kidding? With how he dressed up the only thing he can afford is fake LV bag," another replied.

God he wants to transfer school right here right now, on the spot, without a doubt.

"That's enough guys," the teacher turns toward him, "you can seat at the the back, beside Mark," she points at an empty seat at the last row of the class, making him sit beside the boy who mocked him just now. Nice.

"Also I expect you to catch up with everything by next week," she continued.

Double nice. His life can't be any worse right?
