Welcome To The Server, Pogchamp! I

Ishimaru was a popular streamer under the well known name HallMonitor01. You'd understand the name if you knew his position in his Minecraft server. That's right, we're playing Minecraft now!
There were a some other people in the community server:
Chiaki, the host and admin of the server, fun fact: she also has a record of fastest speedrun!
Ishimaru, the co-host (he keeps the server peaceful and rule breaking free).
Chihiro, a vtuber (if you don't know what that is, it's those anime gamers with a 2d or 3d persona).
Gundham, nobody knows how he got in, but his building skills are incredible.
And Kazuichi, the redstone engineer. He also has a YouTube channel.

There aren't that many, but the server is quite lively since most of them live around the same timezone. Except for a face they rarely see; Sonia, the gamer girl of the server perhaps.
Because she lives on the other side of the world she often plays when the others can't.
Even if she rarely pops up in a stream of another player, she helps with the fanbase of both Gundham and Kazuichi in the all too well known ship wars.

Today was a special day, the famous streamer HallMonitor01, or Ishimaru, had a great idea:
A raffle!
The prize? A day in the server!
An opportunity nobody would overlook. It was quite simple, like a lottery a name would be picked out of one of his followers and they would get to be on a whole stream.
Mondo, a huge fan of his livestreams instantly applied. Just the chance of maybe winning was enough for him, he never expected for his name to be pulled.
Yet, with some insane luck, he heard his name on the special stream where they decided the winner. "And the lucky guy or gal isssss... DiaMondo!
He couldn't believe his eyes, did his ears deceive him? "Mondo? Can we got a celebration in the chat?"
He forgot that he actually had to type:

DiaMondo: OH MY GOD, THIS IS AMAZING

"Alright folks! This weekend will be the special live like announced at the usual time. That's it for tonight then.
Stay safe and don't do drugs!"

And that was the end of that. Mondo quickly logged in on Minecraft.
Unable to process that just for a day, he'd have the Hopes Peak Server in his multiplayer list.
He quickly got up to tell his brother about it, even though it sounds childish. The only ones who appeared home was himself and his dog, his brother was nowhere to be seen.
"Probably with the gang.."
While patting his dog, he fell asleep on the sofa.
That long nap only followed by long days of school and homework, nothing seemed as important as what would happen Saturday.

It was now Friday afternoon, just after his classes ended he got a discord notification. It startled Mondo at first until he realized that you also had to fill in your social media for contact reasons for the raffle.
Could this be...
"Hey Mondo (I hope that that works), I was wondering if you're free today so you could introduce yourself to the rest of the discord server. You up for that?"
He was going to be invited to the discord server?! This had to be a dream!
"Sure, in about 30 minutes, I'm on my way home."
"Alright! See you then!"
He quickly hopped on his bike and speeded home. Probably going over the speed limit numerous times.

At his computer he quickly logged in, he arrived sooner than he thought.
He already received an invite link so he instantly joined.

Chi-chan: look! the new guy's here! :D
Alter-Ego (Chiaki): Welcome
Soda (Kazuichi): Sup dude!
Forbidden1Gundham (Gundham): A new fiend?
Soda: No, bruh, a fRiend!
DiaMondo (Mondo): Hey
Alter-Ego: Nervous?
DiaMondo: A bit, I think I arrived too early...
HallMonitor01 (Ishimaru): Too early is better than too late! :D
DiaMondo: the squad's all here.. almost?
UltiPrincess (Sonia): Oh hello there uwu
DiaMondo: Isn't it night over there?
UltiPrincess: You are very informed owo, and this is worth staying up a bit later.
HallMonitor01: Then I'd say let's start the voice chat!

And so the call commenced.
Some were surprised by his voice being more grownup that expected seeing that his profile picture was that of his dog.
"Could I ask how old you are?" Chihiro asked.
"I'm turning 21 soon."
"Then I'm still the youngest.." he sounded pretty sad saying that.
"Poor Chi-chan, look at the bright side! The kids menu is always cheaper!"
"Hey! >:("
"What about we all log in on the Minecraft server, a little tour won't hurt!"
"Great idea Taka!"
The nicknames were confusing sometimes but since Mondo knew most of their voices he could navigate his way.
"Are we all in?"
"Yup!"
The tour didn't last too long, as a big fan of all their streams he knew most of the area.
"Psst, here are some projects we're working on behind the scenes, don't spoil it ok?"
"Alright!"
It felt somewhat weird getting to see all the secret builds and farms.

After the tour ended, they all said their goodbyes and left the call.
'This is going to be an interesting experience' Mondo though.
