Synopsis

When a group of teens discover that being being a second born royal isn't so relaxed as they thought. Every year second borns across the kingdoms are sent to "Summer School" for a variety of reason, but in reality they're all there for the same reason. To train their newfound powers, and become an agent of the secret society of second born royals.

An agency that has been around for thousands of years. But this group of teens isn't like others, they discover deeper darker secrets about the agency that they were never meant to find. All while an unknown threat is on the rise from underneath their noses, and they don't even know it until potentially it's too late.

These second borns have to learn to put their differences aside and become part of a team. A team that can fight, protect, and trust one another in the most difficult of times. Do they have what it takes to become the next generation of protectors to their kingdoms or will they fail, and be forced to give up their powers, and memories.

Full Synopsis:

In a world where second-borns are merely the spare child to the throne, they discover that being second born doesn't mean your second best, it makes you better. Or in which five unsuspecting second borns discover that they're much more than the spare to the throne. They're destined to protect their kingdoms.

Turns out being second born, and going to summer school isn't the only thing they all have in common. But rather each of those second borns are gifted with a unique power that they have inherently been given through a hidden gene that grants second born children to the throne unique gifts that they will then use to protect their kingdoms in the shadows.

For centuries royals who are second in line for the throne have been gifted abilities. Forced to keep these abilities a secret a program was created for kids just like them. Year after year second borns are sent to "summer school" to train their powers, and earn their spot in this secret society. Everyone assumed this year was going to be the same but these new royals are unique.

Meet Samantha, the sarcastic, and rebellious second born daughter from the kingdom of Illyria, a small country in Europe. She comes from a broken family where both her father, and uncle died in a helicopter crash when she was only 5. However not everything is as it seems when it comes to the truth of her family. Her mother, the queen, was in fact a second born, and surprisingly so the leader of the secret society of second born royals.

Then we have princess January of Luxembourg, her twin brother Jake is in line for the throne which instantly made her second choice for everything. Unknown to her family she is in fact one of the hundreds of kids gifted with unique abilities. Strangely enough her power is mimicking others.

Next up we have Matteo, second born Prince of Silvanea. Matteo is what we call an anti social butterfly. An outcast with no friends until he meets a certain group of second borns at summer school. As it turns out his power is insect control. His favorite being, yep you guessed it, butterflies.

Next we have Princess Roxana, second born Princess of Caius which is located right next to Illyria. Princess Roxana is the exact opposite of Matteo, she's popular, and pretty, and at times self centered but deep down she has a good heart. With being the popular girl who's use to being the center of attention she definitely did not expect her power to be invisibility.

Lastly we have Tuma, second born Prince of Zara, Tuma is exactly like Samantha. He's a troublemaker always looking for rules to break to impress his friends. He is very much a selfish person, and could care less of his actions until an accident made him question everything. Bring brought into training he knew something was up but what he didn't expect was for his power to be persuasion. This power goes against who he is, and forces him to really think before he does.

But not everyone has been clueless when it comes to this secret society. Meet Lilliana Ravenblood, the second born daughter of Ithaca. Lilly is a strange case when it comes to the society as she is more powerful than any other second born known to the society. Unknown to them she has direct connections to a goddess and has inherited the incredibly powerful gifts from her ancestors. Unlike the other second borns, she already knew about the secret society of second born royals from a young age. Unfortunately Lilly isn't so lucky when it comes to choices.

Whilst the other 5 second borns get a choice in joining the society, she doesn't. She is too much of a liability to the society for them to risk her accidentally exposing the society or even being used as a weapon from enemies who lurk in the dark hoping to exploit her power for their personal gain.

Together these 6 royals have to learn to trust one another in order to use their abilities to protect their kingdoms, and become a team. Whistle having superpowers is new to most of the second borns; they all carry the same burden. Being their kingdoms only hope of survival if they ever come across such danger.
