LOST IN MIND

     Darkness consumed kira's vision her only visible thing was thick metal bars encaging her in a small square. Panic bubbled in her system, her body thrashed around in the metal chair, struggling against the chair bounding her down. She glanced around until her eyes landed on a silhouette sitting down to her left. ’Where am I’ kira mumbled to herself. Before she could process another thought, a head piece, with millions of tiny wires connected to it, descended from the ceiling and clamped to her head. A needle plunged into the soft skin at the back of her neck releasing a green substance into her system causing kira to lose consciousness immediately.                       

         Scott stood dumfounded after Kira’s disappearance .After a minute passed he snapped out his trance. A sudden burning rage ignited in his veins as a low growl   fought past his clenched teeth. He wanted to kill Volac, watch his life seep away from his eyes and make him pay for what he did to his Kira. A clicking sound shock Scott out of his thoughts. A second later, Scott lay helpless on the ground with a dart coated with a sleeping serum, stuck in his neck.

           Blinking multiple times, Scott regained consciousness. He was chained to a metal chair, inside a metal cage, with a metal device attached to his head. A needle plunged into the back of his neck before he momentanly blacked out. When Scott opened his eyes, this time he was standing in the middle of a white, vacant room. There was no doors, no windows, no furniture, nothing.  The room was bright although he could not find the source of light. The sound of heels clicking against the floor echoed through the room. Scott turned around to see kira walking towards him. She wore a bright smile and looked like her normal self again. ‘’Kira! Kira is that really you?!’’ Scott inquired, he was desperate now, and he needed Kira. This had to be her, the real her, his kira ‘’it’s me Scott…’’ she whispered.’’Oh God it’s you!’’ Scott exclaimed, running towards her and tightly securing her in his arms.’’What happened? Where are we? How did you get back to your normal self? Where’s Volac? The last sentence came out as a growl,’’ Don’t worry, we are safe now,’’ kira comforted him. ‘’No, Kira. I want to know where we are where that man is and what happened, ‘Scott demanded .He was utterly confused at the moment. Regardless of his relief to see kira, nothing added up. Kira slipped out of Scott’s grasp and slowly began to back away from him. Before Scott could make a move to get kira back, a gunshot sounded from nowhere and reverberated through the vast, empty room. Panic and fear bubbled in his system as he saw his beloved kira collapse to the ground.Thick, red blood seeped through her clothes. Scott stumbled forward, a gurgling, choked up solo full from his quivering lips He fell to his knees at Kira’s lifeless form on the ground. He gathered her fragile body in his arms as he buried his face into the crook of her neck, silently sobbing.  ‘’No, no, no, no, this isn’t happening, this can’t be happening, ‘’ he wailed. Squeezing her body tightly in his arms, he shut his eyes. Scott blacked out momentanly before opening his eyes again to see the same metal cage he was previously held in. He was chaired to the same metal chair, with the same metal device attached to his head. ‘What the hell just happened?’’ he mumbled to himself. A psychotic laughter sounded behind Scott.’’Enjoyed that little hallucination serum?’’
