Caroline, for the first time in over 200 years returned to the place she once called home, New Orleans.

She had lost so much here, her home, her happiness... her son. Though she still finds the strength to walk through the same streets all that time ago.

Caroline has been in town for a couple of hours and it is beginning to get dark. She notices the vampire population has become much larger than it was when it was during the day. In the darkness of night she stands tall and confident as she should as the Original she is, wife to The Hybrid Klaus Miaklelson.

She comes to a part of town where there seems to be no humans, only vampires. Vampires everywhere, on rooftops, through windows, on balconies, walking through the street. As she continues to walk she sees that every last one of them are staring at her.

Though she feels slightly self conscious in the black leather pants, maroon blouse black 4 inch heels, hair down in the sexy beautiful waves. She looks great and carries herself like a queen but she still can't get rid of that little bit of nerve she still gets when she is being stared at by hundreds of other eyes.

One vampire, small guy, dark skin, big afro approaches her, "What is your name and what is your business in the quarter?" he asks quite rudely like he has every right to know everything about her. She notices his daylight ring and can't help but wonder what witch would give HIM a daylight ring. So in the style of the originals - and a way her husband taught her so well in - she dodged his questions to seem unknown

"My name is irrelevant to you. And the reason I am here is exactly what you said... my business." Caroline shoots back with a sweet smile though her eyes show how displeased she is by his interruption of her walk.

"Well.. I am sure you won't have the same answer when asked by the King."

"King?" ignoring her question, the vampire walks towards her and tries to grab her arm. Before he can grab her she grabs his wrist in return with her unbelievably fast speed she has attained from being 1000 years old, making the vampires closer to the man flinch,

"Aww, you are being quite rude to me. Instead of discipline I will teach you something' - She leans closer to whisper to her ear he can't get out of her iron grip - "next time you try to pick a fight make sure it is one you can win." she pushed his arm only for him to be launched to the ground a couple of feet back. The vamps around him help him up

"You will regret that" he snarls as the veins under his appear and his eyes flash red.

"Really? Most learn that lesson the first time I say it. Although I do love proving men wrong."
She bites back with a smirk. Diego - as the vampires around him call him - speeds over to attack

Caroline. Without a blink she has her hand in his chest around his heart.

"Okay," - projecting her voice to the ones around her - "Now that I have your attention, someone call your 'King' I would like to have a word!" she hears one of the vampires around her make a call, though she is not close enough to hear the voice she can hear the fear in the speaker's voice. She only has to wait 2 minutes for the big man to show, hand still in his Diego's chest she finally withdrew it as he approached her from behind only a couple of yards.

She turns around to meet his eyes, immediately her heart starts to beat faster and her eyes fill with tears. He pauses, dumbstruck by who is in front of him, "Mother?" he finally says tears slipping out of her eyes after not hearing his voice for so long. "Marcellous? Is it really you?" he nodded "Marcellous - she says as she releases a breath of air she didn't realize she held as he runs to her - Marcellous my son." Caroline says as she cradles him in her arms as mother and son for the first time in 200 years finally reunite.
