I was driving clutching the steering wheel very tight in my hands.

What if I didn't meet her?

She still would've had her life in danger. I don't even want to think what would happen to her.

They attacked her twice!

And she just talked about it nonchalantly as if it is a very common thing!

She doesn't even let me speak.
And never listens to me!

Still the same little stubborn brat!

"Why are you this angry?" She asked looking at me frowning.

How does she know I am angry?

Ohh...! I forgot she is the same Avni who would know if something is wrong with me only by a look.

I just rolled my eyes.

Too much for being an employee for me!

"Do you ask your boss too? Why is he angry?" I said sarcastically.

"I was just being nice, okay?" She said in a low voice.

"And yes, i do ask Raghav if he seems off." She said glaring at me.

Great!

"What is Raghav? He is Mr. Kapoor for you. You call me by my last name but call him Raghav." I said frustratedly.

"What the fuck is your problem?" She said irritated.

"Is this how you talk to your boss's boss?" I asked her rolling my eyes.

"You deserve it!" She said glaring at me.

I just stayed quiet. I know the more i fight the more mad she will get. She might even throw something at me, if she gets more mad.

We reached her residency. She got out of the passengers seat.

Ofcourse! Too Independent!

That is what i have always adored about her. She doesn't need anyone to fight her battles.

"Avi....!" A child came and hugged her legs from behind when we were walking to her door.

She picked him up in her arms and kissed his cheek. "So.. How was your school?" She asked him and he started rambling.

He is the same boy I saw at Ruhi's school.

That means, i was right! I thought the voice was familiar and it was hers.

I was smiling looking at them. He was telling her stories animatedly and she was listening very interestingly.

I shook my head smiling.
"Oh my my... Did I just catch, the great Veer Singhania smiling?" Raghav said coming from behind.

I just rolled my eyes at him.

"Is it a certain brown eyed girl wearing a beige top and pencil skirt that is making you smile?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows.

"If you don't shut up right now, I am going to tell Tanvi you have a huge crush on her!" I said smirking.

"Fine..!" He said huffing.

Now Avni was done talking with the boy and was opening her apartment door.

We all entered her apartment and then I said "Tanvi & Adnya just start packing her stuff which is important. Rest of the things can be moved later."
