Chapter 690

Riley:
Abby was splashing away being cheeky and being a little goof ball. Cold Abby said when the water was cold. Ok out time little miss I said pulling the plug and lifting her out of the tub and wrapping her in a towel.

I sat her down and dried her off. Once she was all dry I put cream in her butt and put a nappy on her. I put lotion all over her body and face and was tickling her at the same time making her giggle. Someone is giggly I said tickling her.

She let out her adorable little laugh and I couldn't help but laugh with her. I got her dressed into a onesie that had lion king on it and she wasn't very happy about me getting her dressed because she fussed.

I know baby you hate this part I said when I finished getting her dressed and picked her up and held her. I cleaned my mess up a bit and walked back into the bedroom. There's my girls Jake said as we walked in. I sat on the bed with little miss still fussing.

She ok Jake asked. Yeah she's just fussy I said holding her. She grabbed at my shirt showing she wanted to nurse so I got myself ready and I nursed her. She calmed down slowly as she nursed and was a happy little girl again.

Poor baby her teeth really has her upset Jake said. Yeah she has a little fever so I might give her some medicine before she goes to sleep I said rubbing her back. If she stays awake long enough for it Jake said chuckling.

Just go get it for me smart ass I said smiling. Fine he said getting up and grabbing the medicine and putting the right dose into the syringe and handed it to me. I waited until she finished nursing almost an hour later and she pulled off me.

I burped her and gave her medicine to her. She swallowed it and became very cuddly. I brushed out her hair gently with my fingers and then used a soft brush to get the knots that didn't want to come out, out of her hair.

She cuddled herself into my chest getting sleepy. She was holding her daddy's finger in her hand and Jake was stroking her hand with his thumb. You are two cute I said kissing her forehead.  She's so tired Jake said chuckling. So cuddly I said.

She was so close to sleeping and she was smooshed against my chest. Jake grabbed her paci and put it against her lips and she opened. He put it in her mouth and she was sucking away soothing herself to sleep. She started nodding off in her own cute little way.

She eventually dozed off against my chest and dropped Jakes finger a Little bit but he kept it in her hand just in case. I rocked her for a little while longer stroking her back making sure she was in a deep sleep before I put her to bed.

When I felt her breathing even out completely I knew she was completely asleep. Jake took his finger back and I carried her over to her crib and laid her down and kissed her forehead whispering sleep well my little bug to her and kissed her forehead again.

When I stood up Jake copied me and kissed her forehead and whispered sleep well princess and kissed her forehead again and stood up. We both just watched her as she slept because she was adorable.
