Chapter one- Let's call it Project baby

Scorpius and Cassie was walking out of their final class and was talking about how their day went.

"Scorp have you heard?" Cassie asked her twin excitedly.

"What is it?" Scorpius asked, eying her sister curiously.

"They're extending Christmas break! We can spend our birthday not here!" Scorpius chuckles at his sister's grammar.

"We can spend our birthday not here?" Scorpius questioned teasingly, making him and her sister smile.

"Sorry Scorp, got a little excited there. What I meant is we could spend our birthday in Disneyland or the manor or the mansion, just someplace different than hogwarts." She explained, she loved spending time with her twin.

"You've got a point, but do you know what I want for our birthday?" He questioned her twin.

"Pray tell, please not another broom. You've many of those already!" Cassie pleaded.

"Although I would want another broom, I can get myself one. Do you want one? You're an unbeatable chaser anyways, it's worth it." Scorpius suggested.

"No, but that's not what I want for our birthday, it would be pretty nice but... let's say what we want for our birthday okay?" Scorpius nodded.

"Three..."

"Two..."

"One..."

"A baby sister!" Scorpius exclaimed.

"A baby brother!" Cassie exclaimed.

"Huh?" They said in unison, before bursting into laughter. Students looked at them, but they told them off.

They walked in comfortable silence before getting inside their dorm room they share.

"I would love to have a baby sibling, but mum and dad are separated." Scorpius sighed, their parents only told them about a separation curse, nothing else on why they separated.

Cassie seemed to be in deep thought before remembering something; "Scorp! Let's go to the library! Now!" She ordered her brother.

"What? Why?" Scorpius asked her frantic sister, confused on what happened to her,

"Come on! I'll tell you along the way."

"Cass? Slow down please, I don't get while you're dragging my arse into the bloody library." Scorpius begged her sister, who was walking 100 miles per hour.

"Language Scorpius!" She chastised.

"Sorry," he grunted.

They soon got into the library, opening the doors rather harshly earning a 'Shhhh!" From Madam Pince.

Cassiopeia hurried over to Madam Pince's desk; "Madam Pince do you have a book on curses?" She asked the librarian.

"I'm afraid that is in the restricted section." The librarian responded.

"Can you please get it for us? We're desperate." Cassie pleaded, the librarian sighed, signed a note and got up. She came back and gave Cassie a medium sized book, the girl thanked the elderly witch and dragged Scorpius to a table on a corner.

The table had a good view from outside, but was also very secluded. It was the perfect spot.

"Now tell me 3minuteyoungersister, why did you drag me here?" Scorpius joked halfheartedly.

"What?" Cassie asked, bemused.

"I said, 3 minute younger sister why did you drag me here?" Scorpius repeated slowly.

"Remember the separation curse? Maybe we can find a way to break it." Cassie explained.

"Good idea, what happens after that?" Scorpius asked confusedly. Cassie sighed and muttered something along the lines of 'why am I the younger sister' to herself.

"Scorpius you imbecile—" Cassie cursed her twin.

"Language Cassiopeia!" Scorpius chastised, mimicking her sister from earlier; "Wait! I get it now!"

"Whatever." She sighed, she flicked through the pages before landing on the page she was looking for.

"The separation curse, this curse can only be inflicted with intense jealousy for the particular pair. It's used to separate parents from children, couples, best friends, etc. it can only be broken when brought by the object, person, place they most love."

That's when Scorpius noticed that someone's listening.

"I feel like Hades." Scorpius stated, [I feel concerned]

"Work on your realness." Cassie replied, [clarification]

"Reading is not going to help." They knew their statements weren't making any sense, but they can understand each other clearly. [it's important]

"I'll address you," [listening]

"Look around" [Unwanted listeners]

"Eyes are open, all I see is blue." [i know, there's a lot of people who you don't trust]

"It's the ocean," [someone's listening]

"Maybe it's the sea?" [someone's listening?]

"Nope, it's the ocean." [yup, someone's listening]

"Over?" [where?]

"Nova," [left]

"We have a lot of homework actually," [back to the dorm, now]

"We have to stop saying weird shit." [end of conversation]

The two got up and went to their dormitories. Once they got to their room they sat on the sofa and started to discuss their plan.

"So what is the thing mum and dad both love?" They said in unison, before looking at each other.

"Disney land," Cassie started,

"With Ice cream," Scorpius added,

"On our birthday!" They said in unison.

"Let's call it Project Baby,"
