April 11, 2020. Renalise, Pennsylvania.
It's been a week since Andrew found his sister's hat in the river. After school he sits by the small land next to the river. He thinks of many things that could have happened to his sister. Her life was great until a few months ago.
Did she kill herself?
He heard footsteps approaching.
"Babe? What are you doing down here?" his boyfriend, Yusef, called out.
Yusef walked down the path and sat next to Andrew. Andrew laid his head on Yusef's shoulder.
"Just thinking about Evelyn..." he answered.
"Do you think the police will find her?" Yusef asked.
"I don't know at this point. It's been almost a month."
Yusef kissed Andrew's forehead and rubbed his back. Andrew started to cry and hugged Yusef. Yusef hugged him back, and was trying to calm him down. They ended up staying by the river for hours until Yusef walked Andrew home.
As Yusef started walking home, a black cat jumped in front of him. It tried to climb up his leg, so he picked it up.
"What's wrong?"
The cat jumped out of his arms and ran away. Yusef chased after it. The cat kept running. It began to pick up speed.
It stopped. Right in front of the cemetery's gate.
Yusef stopped right in front of it. The cat lifted its paw and pointed into the cemetery. Then shook its head. Like it was telling Yusef to not go there. The cat then ran off again, but he didn't follow. He just stared at a figure.

Yusef finally stopped staring and began to run home.

January 11, 2020 Renalise, Pennsylvania.
A knock was heard at the Rose's front door. Iris went and opened the door and saw Ash and Emily. Iris's eyes lit up when she saw who it was.
"Ash! Emily!" she squealed.
The twins came to the door and smiled once they saw the two.
"Come in!" Andrew said.
Iris moved out of the way so the couple could come in. Hugs were shared between the family members. Evelyn then saw two new scars on Emily's face. One on the side of her face, the other one towards her neck.
"Em? Why do you have two more scars?" Evelyn asked.
Ash and Emily's happy expressions quickly turned sad. Ash looked down at the floor and Emily looked like she didn't know what to say.
"An animal attacked me..." she mumbled.
Evelyn felt bad for bringing this up, "I'm sorry, forget I asked."
"No, it's okay. They don't even hurt anymore."
Everyone then went to the living room and sat on the couch. They decided to watch some Cartoon Network, mostly because there was a Steven Universe Marathon. Emily and Andrew were singing the songs in the show. Evelyn tried, but badly.
