Andrew heard his cellular phone buzz similar to a heartbeat would in the back pocket of his black skinny jeans, adorned with silver studs and chains hanging from his belt loops. He slid it carefully out of his pocket, making sure he did not drop it on the concrete beneath him. Checking the area code as well as the caller ID, the picture he had addressed to this contact was familiar. He slid the green button to answer the call, pressing the receiver lightly to his ear. His sonorous voice rung to the other side of the line.
"Hello, Jinxx. Do you need anything?" He could hear his voice replaying back to him, waiting for a reply from his smaller band member.
"Yes. We have all taken a poll as a group, well, of course except for you, because I am consulting you of this matter now. Practice at three-thirty? Sharp. I know you'll always be on time," he said slowly into the phone, making are Andrew heard every word.
"Okay, thanks, buddy. That sounds fine with me. See you," he said, earning a "See you," from Jinxx in return. Hanging up, he stepped a few feet to his car, opening it, sitting down with a sigh. Eyes drifting to his bony wrist, he read the current time as three-twenty. The practicing studio wasn't very far away. If he broke the speed limit slightly, he could surely make it. Speeding along the back roads, he got there in record time. Arriving at the front door, he inhaled the unfulfilling scent of the studio. In a few rooms over, he could hear voices talking. Walking along the long corridor, a few hallways, he peeked around the corner, spotting the bassist of Black Veil Brides, Ashley Purdy. Andrew waved, smiling.
"Hello, Ashley!" he exclaimed. Ashley waved slightly, nodding, swirling around ice pieces in a red Solo cup filled with water.
"Hey, Andy. Can I talk to you for a sec?" Andrew shifted uncomfortably, nodding.
"Sure Ash, about anything,"his boots clunked along the concrete floor as he pulled out a black fold out chair from the small black table he was sitting at, sitting down with a slight groan. He spread his legs, leaning his elbows on his knees.
"What's up, Ash?" he said raspily, the right corner of his mouth rising slightly.
"Well, I th-" he was cut off by CC, laughing, and skipping by the door. Come on, guys! Let's practice a set to get warmed up!" he cheered, running into the main room. Andrew laughed slightly, chuckling.
"Looks like I'll have to catch you later Ashley. We've got work to do."
