skip to friday before the ball.

i walked to school that day with jeffrey because it was sunny and warm. i was wearing tidied leggings a yellow hoodie and white vans. when we got to school i ran straight to cedric kissed him and told him what color to wear at the ball. i was so excited! i had made friends and had a boyfriend!
that day during study hall we were all outside and i had got a call from my friends austin, makayla, and Alex back at my old school they all missed me and i told them everything then it was just Alex i asked why the other two had left and he said "you and austin dated for 1.5 years then you told him you needed to break up because you were about to move, you've only been broke up for a month and you really expect to take you moving on so fast okay? god grace seriously!?" "I'm sorry i didn't even think of that please tell him I'm sorry and that i.. i.. i love him." " i will but do you want me to say that last part?" "if i didn't would i have said it?" "okay okay okay. well I've got to go, bye grace we miss you" then i went back over to jeffrey, cedric, and Connor. "who was that?" asked cedric " just a couple friends from my old school, they miss me" i said with a smile "of course they do id miss you too if you left me" he said then kissed my cheek. i really really like him i just cant get over the conversation i just had with alex.
i was in eighth period when jeffrey asked me what the phone call was really about and i told hime everything even the part about me saying" I love you" to austin "oh my gosh grace but cedric" i cut him off "wont find out because you wont tell him deal.?" "deal."
we left and decided to walk to my house when we got there jeffrey went straight to my kitchen, dang that kid eats a lot, once we got all our snacks together we went up to my room and had a "dance party" it was so much fun. after about half an hour we laid down on my bed and relaxed, "so who are you going to the ball with?" i asked jeffrey "no one i think ill just got alone. ill get to dance with anyone" he said with a smirk. that smirk was so cute, wait shut up grace you like cedric. i laughed at him and before long i fell asleep and i guess he did too. when i woke up it was dark then i realized what i was doing i jumped up i was laying snuggled up with jeffrey and his arms around me, i woke him when i jumped he looked at me and smiled "we hello beautiful" "what!? no! no! i! why did we do that!? why did i wake up with you!?" i yelled "how should i know when i fell Asleep you were like half a foot away!" he said "but!.." he cut me off "shh i wont tell if you wont tell okay!" he said sounding satisfied, i agreed.
jeffrey had left soon after that he said his mom was gonna kill him. i deiced to shower and get ready for bed i was so excited for tomorrow!
when i got out of the shower i had a text from cedric;
C: ill meet you at the park at 8. cant wait!♥️
Me: me either! see you then😘
i was tired so i quickly dried my hair got on a t-shirt and some sweats and went to bed.
