"He asked for austin." I stood up i didn't know what to think why would he want me? I'm the reason he's in here. I turned and smiled at grace then walked into his room. He looks awful i didn't know what to say. "Sh..shut..the door" he said i did so. "I get why you hit me, shelby threw yourself on me and I tried getting her off but she wouldn't get of me. I'm happy grace has someone like you to look out for her." I didn't say anything I was still in shock and that didn't help. "I get it youre in shock, could you get grace for me?" I nodded ad walked out.
I told grace to go in his room.
She got up and left. There was so much on my mind.
Grace's P.O.V
Austin came out, he looked shocked. He told me Jeffrey wanted to see me I got up and went into his room, he motioned for me to close the door so I did. He spoke "I love you you know that right?" I nodded I just couldn't talk if i did I would cry "when you were in here with shelby, I could see you like i was walking around, I sat by the window then got up and went over to her and kissed your cheek" I knew I felt something touch my face but i still couldn't talk I just kept nodding. "I get it austin couldn't talk either" he said "you can go now. I need shelby, will you get her?" I nodded and got up to go get shelby. Why did he want her? I got her anyway. I motioned for her to go.
I turned to austin and said "i..I wanna go.. Home" he nodded and we got up, but just as we were leaving Cedric, Connor, and woah Katie had walked in. Why is she he i get cedric and Connor they were BestFriends but Katie broke his heart.
Cedric looked at me and said "could you guys stay we got a call and that's why we are here some lady called us from unknown and told everyone that was close to jeffrey to stay here." I replied "and you're just gonna listen to an unknown number? I'm leaving." But just as I was about to walk out of this hospital and lady came in and stopped me "ma'am im gonna have to ask you stay." I froze, austin grabbed my hand and we turned back around to the waiting room.
The lady started questioning us,
"Who's known jeffrey the longest?" Connor raised his hand along with cedric
"We all met in pre-school" he said
She nodded
"Who was the last person seen with Jeffrey?"
Austin and cedric looked at each other then Connor stood up,
"It was me."
Why did he do that did he just take the fall for them or was he walking to class with jeffrey and not know that austin and cedric were?
