Chapter 3-"Two Mama Drama"

It had been exactly four weeks from that fateful day when everything changed for Sherri and Teri. They had seen each other every single day since then. Four whole weeks. Twenty Eight whole days.

Nothing but each other, holed up in one of their houses for days not leaving unless they absolutely had to.

They had made love more times than they could count, they had done nothing but kiss and hold each other all night on several occasions, they felt together that nothing could stop them, they were comfortable. They had known each other for years, just not in the way they knew each other now. Although, it felt like they had been doing this for their entire lives.

Today was their first day of work and they had a discussion the night before about their relationship and what it meant and what it meant for their working relationship.

Sherri had admitted that this was her first lesbian relationship and Teri admitted that though she’d had many sexual flings with women she always seemed to run the other direction when it started to become more because she felt the person wasn’t the right one.

She admitted that normally she would never move this fast in a relationship but this was something she had never felt before. Sherri agreed with everything she had said and with that they decided to become an exclusive couple. They didn’t want everyone to know yet, especially the cast of their show so they decided to keep it a secret for now until the time felt right.

They had a table read for the show today and they decided it would be best if they arrived separately.

Teri was already sitting at the table, laughing with some of the cast when Sherri arrived. She said her hello’s to everyone then sat down in the empty chair with her name in front of it next to Teri.

"Hey, how are you", Teri asked as Sherri sat down.

"Great. How are you", Sherri asked in response.

"Tired", Teri said with a small smile.

Sherri looked at her with huge eyes.

Just then the last of the cast arrived and they began the table read. As soon as the table read was over they went onto the set for a quick rehearsal. Normally they would have a lot more time but this was a rush pick up and they started filming the next day.

They ran thru scenes over and over. They put their own twist on things. They laughed together. The entire cast really was like a family, even after only knowing each other for a short amount of time. Everyone could see that there was something special here on this set. History was being made. In more than one way.

The producers and director decided they wanted to run thru the scene one more time before calling it quits for filming the next day.

Sherri spoke her lines, “Brandon is my partner Stephanie’s son from her previous marriage”.

Teri walked thru the door and spoke her lines and kissed Sherri’s lips softly.

Once they were done the two of them decided it might be best if they spent the night apart. They hadn’t done so since that first night together and it might clear their heads for filming tomorrow.
