The next day the sun was shining in the sky the it was the early days of spring. Driving through the busy roads of Karachi Bilals car halted in-front of Karachi university (KU). He got off and leaned against the door trying to catch sight of a specific someone. A specific some who has caused havoc in his heart.

After waiting and hour or so he finally saw her walking out with a friend of hers. She waved bye to her friend who sat in a car and began moving further out. Bilal quickly adjusted his look, trying to make it look like he's out here busy doing some important work. He held his phone on his ear acting like he's on call. He again glanced her way checking if he's in her line of view. But his eyes caught something else instead. A boy was following her and saying things and she clearly looked uncomfortable.

The boy now began tapping her shoulder and she kept flinching his hand away. She tried to walk faster to the exit.

"Safiya"

Bilal couldn't stay and watch her being harassed. He matched her way and said her name with an authority of some kind, intimating the guy behind her.

"Bilal bhai? Aap yaha?"

Ignoring her question he stared into the boys face who stood behind her. "Tumari gaari kyu nahi ayi abhi tak?" He asked her still not moving his eyes of the boy.

"Woh patah nahi abh thak rikhsaywale uncle ajatey hein aaj patah nahi kyu late horahey hein..me koi or rikshaw lelungi" she said peeking over her shoulder at the boy.

"Jakey gaari me bheto" he handed her the car key leaving no place for argument.

"Jee"

She went and sat in the passenger seat of his car anxious to what he was doing. She could see him talking to the boy. The boy was a class bully, and she had been his new target. She was the shy quiet type of girl and easily became target to such bullies.

"Woh kon tha?" He asked sitting down in the driver seat.

"Classmate"

"Dost hai tumarah"

"Nahi bhai"

"Tang karta hai tume?"

And she looked down and nodded her head.

"Abh nahi kareyga" he told her and she didn't further question.

"Aap yaha kese aj?" She asked again.

And he stammered for a second
"Woh uh ..woh mujhe kuch kam the pass me hi" he dismissed.

He drove her Ito her house, a little house in the middle of the city. She unbuckled her belt and was about to get of the car but she turned to face him for another second.

"Thank you for today. Par ap mera ek kam karenge?"

"Bolo"

"Ammi ko nahi batyegah Woh bilawajeh pareshan hojayengi..please"

And he nodded understanding her.

"Aap Andar nahi ayenge?" She asked getting off the car.

"Aaj nahi phir kabhi"

She moved her head side to side a little with a smile.
"Allahahfiz" and she went into her house.

In the haveli Laiba searched for her mother-in-law. She had concluded that Bilal was going to be just like his brother and not confess until things got really awkward. She decided now she would take action, after all Bilal was her best friend and she felt like it's her right to intervene.
Looking around here and there she found her mother in law sitting in her room near the coffee table. The coffee table had a few ingredients laid about and Qirat was doing something with them, if one walked by they'd think she doing some kind of black magic summoning a demon or something.
