Kierra Argen walked along the cobblestone path of her home town Shiganshina, and she seemed to have a skip in her step as she walked towards her home. She soon stopped though as she saw people gathered around, and she decided to see what was so interesting when the scout regime came into her line of sight and people began yelling out to them and Kierra watched intently until she was pushed by someone's elbow and knocked down to the ground almost in front of the path of the scout regime. She quickly stood up and smiled at the scouts and mouthed an apology. She then scurried off excited to be able to tell her darling twin sister Carra that she had seen the scouts. Once she entered her home she went into her and her sister's shared room where her sickly sister was laying on a bed. "Carra, the scout's just passed through here. Maybe next time you can see them yourself sister." Carra smiled at her and her face was thin and pale and just by looking at her, Kierra could tell her condition was getting worse. "I would love to see them sometime. I just hope this sickness will have passed by then."

The two girls were interrupted by a loud crack and Kiera immediately ran outside and looked around confused, and she looked up after seeing other people staring upwards, and she saw a huge titan slightly taller than the wall, and she gasped in fear and suddenly another loud crash was heard and the titan was gone. But not soon after other titans began to swarm Shiganshina. Kierra ran into her home and began to help her sister get out of bed as she said "We have to get to safety, There is a hole in the wall." The two frightened girls got outside their home at the perfect time as a titan stepped on it and the two girls looked up at it and it seemed to stare back at them. Some of the rubble had fallen on top of Carra ans Kierra desperately tried to get it off of her just as the titan reached down to them. Carra saw the titan and pushed Kierra away with all her strength as the titan griped her tightly and Kierra could only watch as the titan squeezed its fist and blood splattered everywhere, including herself. Carra's head had seemed to pop off and it fell right in front of Kierra.

Kierra screamed in agony and the titan devoured the rest of her twins body, She began running and didn't look back as the titan moved on from its place. She was running around with no direction and soon she saw she was at her mothers workplace, and she began to look around to see if her mother was anywhere close. But soon she saw a hand with a tattoo just like her other's she began to sob, and she walked closer and saw that it also had her mothers silver snake ring, and she took the ring off the hand and continued running until a guard saw her, and he ran to her and screamed "Come this way little girl. We can get you to safety!"

The man then began to guide her towards the river that ran through Shiganshina into wall rose and just when they were almost at the boat the man was grabbed and lifted up. Kierra looked up and saw a titan, and she stared at it as it bit off the top half of the man's body. Then it set its eyes on her. Kierra looked around and saw that she was alone, and she closed her eyes and waited for it to grab her but it didn't. She opened her eyes and saw it was just staring at her.

The man's lower body was now on the ground in front of the titan, and she ran to it and grabbed the gear the guards always wore and tried to quickly strap it to herself but then the titan came out of its daze and tried to grab her, but she managed to trigger the hooks just in time, and she was flying through the air. She was scared and didn't know what she was doing, but she reacted on instinct and before thinking she had attached the hooks to the titans shoulders, and she was flying towards it and with strength she didn't know she had, she stabbed it in the eye and dragged the blades downwards and its jaw fell off, and she jumped to its back side and sliced off a part of it's neck and it fell to the ground as she was falling towards the ground. She shot the hooks at the building closest to the ship that was getting fuller by the minute and soon enough she had landed on the ship. Everything seemed to go blank for her, and she couldn't remember what was happening around her, she heard voices but didn't know what was being said, she only stared forward in shock. And soon unnoticed tears were slipping down her face.
