It had now been 2 years after Kierra's enlistment, and she and her group were now running through the woods in the dark as the rain pounded down on them and Kierra tried to push faster as Shadis roared from atop his horse. "Pick up the pace you lead heeled laggards!" Kierra began to fl bad for the blonde boy as he struggled and their instructor yelled at him "Warter lodged, Arlert? Let's see some hustle! Gear getting too heavy for you, son? Hell, drop it. Leave it in the mud. Titans will have a much easier time digesting you without the excess baggage!"

Kierra looked behind her, and she began to feel bad for the blonde boy, and she slowed down. Kierra often felt bad for Armin and had found herself helping him multiple times and giving him advice how to deal with training with his brains rather than his non-existent strength.

Kierra slowed down her run again and soon enough she was running next to Armin, and she had to raise her voice for it to be heard over the pounding rain. "Armin give me the gear! I can handle it, and I know you won't be able to. You can't drop it either!" She said to him, and he smiled at her gratefully. The weight was almost non-existent. During her training she had discovered she had immense strength but even she didn't know why. She hadn't had that strength before the disaster of Shiganshina. Kierra gave Armin a nod and prepared to speed up her run again but Shadis yelled out to her "Cadet Argen, who told you to help the other cadets?" "Sir, I thought it to be a valuable skill in a serious situation to help your fellow soldiers, sir!" Kierra said to him loudly, and he seemed to give a small unheard sigh as he said "I'll allow it this time." And then he rode off to the front again.

Once they had reached their destination the sun had shown up over the sky again, and they had been instructed to put on their ODM gear and there were wood cutouts of titans standing tall near some of the trees. Kierra rolled her shoulders as she was the first to put on her gear. She was almost incredibly fast at putting on her gear and most of the others had asked what her secret was. Truthfully she didn't have a secret, it was just instinct.

"You can start slashing when you get your gear on!" Shadis yelled and Kierra was flying through the air before he even got a chance to finish his sentence.

Kierra flew towards the first titan cutout that she saw and slashed its neck piece and even a part of the wood. She left the other one for the others out of pity and travelled deeper into the woods looking for more of them. She slashed a few on her way and soon enough the others had reached her she smiled to herself as they went around her looking for kills. From the corner of her eye she saw a cutout to her left that everyone seemed to have missed, and she made an abrupt turn and everyone else stared at her as she flew past them like lighting, and she fiercely flew past the titan going into a smooth rolling motion right before and the cut was smooth and deep and everyone else stared at her in awe.

Kierra continued gliding forward, and she had a fun time tricking the other cadets that they had a kill, and then she would roll past and steal their kill, though she made sure that she would only steal at most 3 kills from each cadet.

Kierra stood in her place silently just looking at Jean. She wasn't a fan of fighting humans and didn't know how well she could restrain her strength. In her opinion, fighting people was a waste of time and there was no point. Jean stood still in a ready stance as he waited for her to make a move. She supposed that it was necessary to do this part of training, after all, she would have been grateful for these lessons when she was younger. She let out a breath and waited a second, and then she took quick quiet steps forward and it seemed to take Jean a few moments to register her movement. Kierra Brought up her hand and Jean adjusted his stance in a way to best counter it, though Kierra brought up her leg quickly and kicked him in the stomach, and he keeled over and clutched his stomach. Kierra smirked at his movements and lightly kneeled him in the head as she pushed him to the ground and put her foot on his chest and held the wooden knife to his neck.
