"The paper says it's doomsday. The button has been pressed."

"Wilbur, what if you don't win?" Ophelia was pacing around the van, now that Quackity was running for president there is a chance that Wilbur won't win

"Wilbur, what if you don't win?" Ophelia was pacing around the van, now that Quackity was running for president there is a chance that Wilbur won't win.

"I'm going to win there's nothing to worry about." Wilbur was unsettlingly calm over this whole situation.

"What do you mean nothing to worry about? What if people vote for Quackity?"

"They won't, he just moved here why would they vote for someone new and not someone familiar?"

She stopped pacing and looked to the brunette, "I guess you're right. He doesn't have a chance." She attempted to reassure herself.

"Exactly, now come on we need to gather everyone and head to the courthouse."

Deeply sighing, Ophelia picked up her mask and slipped it on, following Wilbur out of the van.

"Fundy? What's happening?" Ophelia looked towards the other side of the courthouse to see her friend standing with the opponent. He stayed silent, fidgeting with his hands.

"Our dear Fundy has decided that he will be joining my campaign." Quackity smiled devilishly. All of the members of L'manburg looked wildly around at each other, confused at this sudden switch of sides.

"Is this true Fundy?" Wilbur spoke up, Ophelia knew he was hurt but he wasn't going to show it.

"Yes. Quackity has better offers." There seemed to be no remorse, it was as if he completely forgot about the war they all fought together. Ophelia clenched her fists to keep from running over there and grabbing him to drag him back over to Wilbur's side.

"Let's start the debate shall we?" Karl, the decided mediator of the debate spoke up. Wilbur and Quackity took their places, facing each other. The supporters of each candidate sat behind their leaders. "First debate topic, Territories. Quackity you go first."

"Wilbur Soot has been in charge of this nation for far too long, he needs to allow new people into L'manburg. He has discriminated against outsiders for too long, tradition needs to be broken and L'manburg needs to grow and expand." He finished. Ophelia simply rolled her eyes, they rightfully fought for their land against Dream's tyranny, they deserved the right to rule L'manburg.

"Wilbur, it is your turn to speak." Karl turned his attention to L'manburg's side.

"L'manburg, from the very start, has been a sanctuary for my people. All we ever wanted was our freedom, but we had to face the oppressions from Dream and his people. I do not plan on letting anyone new into our land because we fought for our freedom and we deserve to keep it." Wilbur passionately spoke. Of course Ophelia loved L'manburg and the people there but she did agree with both sides of the argument. Sure, new people should be allowed in but also they deserve to pick and choose after being betrayed.
