Annie's POV
I was allowed to enter the Scout HQ on my day off.
"Mrs Leonhart this way please." said Floch
Floch leads me towards the main HQ building and leads me to the other side of the interrogation room where Hange, Armin, Mike and Scout team 104 was standing except Eren.
"Eren hasn't been home?" asked Mikasa
"He's been at Zeke the past two days." I replied
I looked through the window and saw a fat man with a busted lip and bruised chin sitting there with Captain Levi inside.
"Is he Rod?" I asked
Mike nodded in response.
"Start the interrogation." said Armin through the mic
Levi sits down in front of Rod and opens a folder.
"Rod Reiss, the father of our queen Historia Reiss." said Levi, "Why were you in hiding?"
Rod doesn't respond for a while until he takes a deep breath.
"Let me talk to my daughter." he said
I scoffed and everyone in this room looked confused and in disbelief.
"You haven't showed up to her at all for who knows how long." said Levi, "Why?"
Rod stays quiet again.
"Oi shithead talk." said Levi
"Cause she was a failure." he replied
Levi was clearly getting agitated.
"Why was she a failure?" asked Levi
"Levi, we'll ask those questions later. By the queen herself." said Hange through the mic
Levi turned the page.
"By any chance did you possess the power of the founding titan?" asked Levi
Rod stayed quiet and I was getting impatient.
"Yes, we did." said Rod
My heart started thumping fast.
"Who possesses it right now?" asked Levi
Rod stays quiet and I was just about to run in there when Rod opened his mouth.
"Eren Jaeger." he replied
My mouth dropped open and Bertholdt just choked on his water.
"How do you know?" asked Levi
Rod closed his eyes and his breathing was visibly getting faster.
"His heart rate is rising." said Armin
"Geisha Jaeger, father of Eren Jaeger murdered my daughter and my entire family. He was a selfish piece of shit who killed my entire family!" he yelled
"When did he kill them" asked Levi
"Right before the fall of shiganshina." he said
"Why did he do that?" asked Levi
"He wanted to use the founding titan powers to drive away the titans as they entered the district." said Rod
"He's cooperating better than I thought." said Connie
I ignored his remark and thought about it.
'You can't use the powers of the founding titan if you don't have royal blood, the only way you can use it is if you make contact with anyone with royal blood.'
