As someone who is planning on doing a book in the future that does involve this, I have decided to do this.
Now for Instagram this can be difficult. I did have a bunch of problems with this, from friends to people who DM me (on another platform).
So what I do is pretty much this. (This can be used as a draft)
[Insert Instagram Name]: [What you have to type]
Photo Credits (if any): [Insert person's name]
Tagged people (if any): [@ Insert username], [@ Insert username], and [@ Insert username]
(What I do so I don't accidentally '@' people is that I type down the '@' in another tab, copy, write down the user name and then go back and put in the @.)
Now the harder part is int he comments. Coming up with the unique usernames and putting them in, also putting in a 'how to recognize' if it's a chain response.
All I do is:
@RandomUsername: [Insert comment]
> @AnotherRandomUsername: [Insert response]
And this goes on and as long as you like. If you want it to seem like it's just a long response just add in an italicized
5 comments
or something. As many comments as you want. Remember to bold the usernames so they can know the difference of a username and the comment. It should look like the one below:
NotEleven: Can't even draw me smh, man used a generator
[Tagged: @SilverNickle, and @JuniperXO]
(Tagged part should be all bold except (if there is) an and, that part is bold AND italicized)
Comments look like this:
SilverNickle: Baby go cry
> JuniperXO: waawaa
>> NotEleven: @SilverNickle @JuniperXO go choke on English
For random username ideas, I usually go to Instagram and look at random posts, pick out two usernames and bring them in together as one. Or make it like a fan account or something.
