The beginning of the End

I sat up as i began looking around at the area I was in ''What is this'' i said as i started to walk around in the darkness I walked and walked for what felt like hours untill i found myself in front of a huge cage and what was in side made my heart stop.

Their in the huge cage was a beast but for some reason I couldn't see it fully it only looked like a shadow but I was sure of one thing what ever this thing was it was huge. I walked over to the cage and right when I made it to the cage the huge beast roared which made me have to cover my ears and bend down, ''Get out now''!!! It screamed terrified for my life I just stood their as it stabbed me with one of its claws.

I jolted up from my bed sweating bullets as I got up from my bed checking if their was a wound which there wasn't which calmed me a little but I was still shaking from the dream I just had when I heard my sister call me ''Lyon wake up it's time to eat breakfast" she yelled downstairs from the kitchen I put on my shirt and walked downstairs where I saw my mom and Luna eating eggs,bacon, pancakes and some grits.

I walked over to the table and sat down next to my mom who kissed me on the head and made me a plate "more nightmares huh" she said as she got a rag and wiped all the sweat off my head I had been having nightmares ever since the day I turned 14 which was horrifying to say the least. "Yeah but this time I actually seen something I said", she raised her eyebrow telling me to go on forward as I began explaining what I saw "it was a huge cage with something inside of it but it told me to get out before stabbing me" I said.

I looked at my mother and seen that her expression was a mix of shock and horror as she stared at me, but before I could ask her about her expression my father came downstairs interrupting our conversation as I began eating again he looked at me for a moment the sat down next to my sister. I didn't know why but ever since i could remember my father had always been avoiding me as much as possible and only talked to me when absolutely necessary.

My mother walked over to my dad and pulled him to the side telling us to  continued eating as she walked out the room. My sister moved closer to me "what's wrong with you, you look like you've seen a ghost" she said as i looked at her "I had a bad dream last night and I'm a little shaken up right now so that's probably why I look like this" I said she looked at me then said " how about after you eat you go explore the town a little more that might get your mind off of the nightmares you keep having and you might be able to find you a girlfriend" she said as she looked at me, I blushed and looked away as she kept teasing me.

"Fine I'll go into town if it will get you off my back"I said as I scarfed down the rest of
my food and went back upstairs to take a shower. When i made it up the stairs and walked up to my room to get some clothes I heard my dad's voice from his room, I walked over to their door and leaned against it to hear them talking "we can't let him stay with us any more that thing might kill all of us and then summon more" I heard my dad's voice say "but if we kick him out where will he go we can't just abandon him and kick him to the street" I heard my mom's voice say, "he is a monster in human skin he doesn't belong here he might hurt Luna.

"Monster I thought, are they talking about me why would they abandon me what did I do wrong, I wouldn't kill anyone, and I would never hurt Luna" all those thoughts ran through my mind at a mile a second. I didn't see or hear the door handle start to rattle as they both came out of the room, my mom looked down and gasped as she saw me standing their I looked up at the tears threatening to spill at any given moment and before she had the chance to say something I ran to my room put my shoes on and ran out of the house.

I keep running and running as fast as my legs could take me until I bummed Into something I looked up and saw a glimpse of scarlet red before I was hit on top of the head. "Ow"I said as I rubbed my head as I looked up again to see a girl with scarlet red hair and a beautiful face, " I'm so sorry i didn't see where I was going" I said as I got back up of of the ground and bowed down to her apologizeing for running into her . It looked as if she was studying me for a minute before she said " it's fine just make sure you watch where your going next time, also have you been crying your eyes are red and puffy"she said.

I looked at her and gave her a fake smiled "I'm fine I just smelled a onion and I have been crying a little"I said. "You are a horrible liar"the strange girl said I was shocked that she found out that I was lieing and looked at her "if you don't mind me asking then what is your name" I said she smiled at me with her shining teeth and said "hello my name is Erza nice to meet you"she let her sentence hang and at first I was confused then I realized she was asking for my name indirectly then I said hi I'm Lyon nice to meet you to I said with a small smile.

So Lyon why don't we go have some cake and talk about why you were crying" she said I nodded and we walk to the nearest cake shop as we both sat down in the same booth across from each other as she ordered her a strawberry cake I just sat their feeling a little out of place. She looked at me "your not going to order anything" she asked "no I'm fine I already ate something" I said she nodded then proceeded to eat her cake. As she at I began to learn somethings about her like how old was she, her favorite color, and other things.

Then when we were done talking we both went our separate ways "bye" I said "see you later she" said as I began to walk back home as I was walking I heard a huge explosion from the direction of my house , my eyes widened as I started to run home when I got their I saw my house it was all burned and falling apart "mom" "dad" where are you!!! I screamed looking through all the ruble. "We're over here" I heard my mom scream back, I ran over their and what I saw shook me to the core their my mom was holding my dad's dead body while it was all bloody she wasn't in any good condition either there was a piece of wood stuck on her leg which was crushed and she was wincing in pain and in the middle was luna who was being held up by her throat by a man in all black.

"Please please let her go she didn't do anything" I said he looked at me his red eyes staring right into my soul he laughed as he crushed her neck I dropped down to my knees as I cried my mom looked at me "go she said run away and don't come back" I didn't know what to do so I got up, and charged at the man with a battle cry as he grabbed me by the throat and choked me "you aren't even worth killing" he said as he through me to the ground as I began holding my neck and coughing hard. I looked up to weak to move as he advanced to my mother "stop"!!! I shouted get away from her" he looked back at me and smiled as he cut her head off everything seemed to slow down as her head hit the ground. I stared at it for a while before he appeared in my face, "your to weak you couldn't stop me and you couldn't even save your own family" he said. You need power and resolve to kill me I will come back and when I do let's see if you can kill me next time then everything went black.

I sat up in a hospital bed with a hospital robe on I felt something in my hand and looked to the side, their right by my side was Erza sound asleep in the chair. I then remembered what happened to my family and got up and walked to the window Erza had woke up from me letting go of her hand and looked at me "your awake" she said. I nodded as I was still looking the other way I opened my mouth "I'll do it" I said "Do what" Erza said I looked back at her with so much hatred in my eyes she took a step back. "I will kill the man who murdered my family I swear it I will kill him" I said. I turned back to the window and looked out side I'll do it I thought in my head I promise.
