When You Go On A Double Date

"Morning (Y/N)!" You looked up to see Kaminari smiling at you.

"O-oh! Morning!"

"Sorry if I startled you." He said, taking a seat at his desk which was in front of yours.

"It's alright. How have you been? Anything new?" You asked.

"Uh, yeah, actually...."

"Really? Well what's up? I'm sorry we haven't been chatting much lately, Kirishima and I have been kind of busy." You blushed.

"No worries, I'm sure you're having lots of fun." He winked before sighing.

"Well, you see, I kinda....I kinda asked someone out." His face was beginning to Redden.

"Oh! Really? Well that's awesome!"

"Yeah, she um, she works at a coffee shop, she's really pretty."

"Awe, I can tell you're really into her, you haven't made a perverse comment yet."

He blushed and laughed.

"Actually, she kind of likes my terrible pick up lines...Anyways, I asked her out to the movies, but you see, I told her bring some of my friends too, and um..." He looked at you expectantly.

"Wait. Don't you think she'll think you want to only hang out as friends? Why would you want to bring other people?"

"Well, I mean, it worked for you and Kirishima, didn't it?" He smiled.

You raised a brow. He wasn't wrong.

"Touche."

"So I was wondering if, you know, maybe you and Kiri would consider doing your favourite best friend a favour, and go on a double date with me, because, well, I obviously can't take Bakugou." He laughed nervously.

You sweat dropped at the thought of your spiky haired bestfriend.

"Certainly not." You laughed.

"Hey guys! What are you talking about?" Kirishima said, taking his seat beside you.

"Morning babe~." He smiled before taking your hand and kissing your cheek.

Kaminari pouted.

"I wish..." He muttered.

"Well...Denki here just invited us for a double date."

Kirishima was silent for a second, as if he was expecting you to say something else.

"Wait....Really?" He asked.

"Yeah! Don't you have any faith in me! If you can get a girlfriend, so can I! Might as well give up your hero position, because I'm becoming a riot with the girls!" Kaminari winked.

You and Kirishima cringed.

"Um, yeah,....Dont ever do that again...." You said.

"Alright, well, where are we meeting?" Kirishima asked.

"Wait. So you guys are agreeing?"

"Of course. We're your best friends after all. Besides, I've gotta see who actually accepted your pick up lines!" Your boyfriend laughed and continued to hold your hand.

"Hey!"

"Hey! Babe! Over here~!" You waved to Kirishima who has just arrived at the movies theatres.

"There you are! You look...So pretty! How did I get so lucky to have you?" He blushed and pulled you close to him.

You smiled.

"I'd say you clean up pretty well too Mr.Eijirou." You teased and he covered his face.

"Oh this is so not manly."

"You guys! There you are!" Kaminari said, walking up to you both with a girl trailing behind him.

"So..., what are we seeing tonight?" Kirishima asked as you walked inside the theater.

"Oh, you'll see, it's a surprise." Kaminari winked at the girl beside him, who had introduced herself as Remi.

"Hey babe, why don't I pay for the tickets and you pay for the food." You said.

Kirishima sighed. He always liked paying for everything, which you knew, but in order for your relationship to be healthy, it needed a good balance.

"As long as your happy." He smiled.

"Hey, hey! No worries, I'm paying for everything tonight you guys! Because that's the type of guy I am, right? A t-true gentlemen!" Kaminari smiled.

His face screamed 'my wallet is going to hate me after this' vibes.

"Uh, well-"

"Alright!" Kirishima fist pumped.

"That is so awesome of you dude. Thanks!"

"That's really sweet Kaminari!" Remi said, taking his arm and smiling.

He blushed.

"Of course!"

"AHHHHHH!!!" Screams echoed throughout the movie theatre, Denki's being one of them as he gripped his seat.

Kirishima was sweating a bit but he kept a brave face on. You knew it was just apart of his 'manly charm ', because the Grudge was a terrifying movie.

Remi seemed to be enjoying the movie quite a bit actually. You figured she was a lowkey horror fan. Poor Kaminari. He was probably expecting her to jump into his arms and cower in fear but it's quite the opposite so far.

You had mixed feelings, the movie wasn't so terribly shocking, as you had seen it before, but there was this one part that always got you where-

"Ahhh!!" Your hand shot to cover your mouth as a scream threatened to slip out.

Kirishima automatically put his arms around you and pulled your head against his chest.

He laughed but kissed your head.

"Don't be afraid babe, nothing can hurt you. After all, you have the manliest guy out there to protect you!"

You sighed and looked up, nodding a bit.

Kaminari looked at you both and sighed. It'd be a long time until he got to your level.
