☁️Soon you'll come home ☁️

Alex was out doing his nightly patrol with harvesting the spirts who where due with his pet possum Lavender on his back, as he was walking around he heard some someone sobbing. Curious he follows and sees a a little girl sitting on a pile of burnt rubble crying, her nightgown was ruined and she has burns all over her little hands, Alex looks at his tablet and sees she's just recently deceased and passed in a house fire. His heart was breaking and he walks up to the girl "Hello there, what's your name?" the girl looks up and sniffles "S-sophie, where's momma? I'm scared and cold" she said crying again, Alex walked over and gave her his sweater to wear. "Nice to meet you Sophie, I'm Alex. I'm not sure what where is your momma is but I'm here to help you, can you tell me what happened?" Sophie nods and explains they had mice bad and they must've chews on some wires, 'Electrical Fire...She's so young though. ' Alex thought and rubs her back reassuring her that everything will be okay. Lavender pops out from behind Alex and starts doing tricks making Sophie laugh and giggle, she leans on Alex and he wraps his arm around her, smiles softly, and sings her a song.

"All I have is a picture in my mind
How it would be if we were together

And you promise in your letter that you'll come home"

Sophie yawns and curls up to him

"Come home to my heart

We'll never be apart if I keep dreaming of you

Alex rubs her back softly and continues as the gates of Heaven open and a angel walks down to collect Sophie

"Soon you'll come home
Home to my heart
Soon you'll come home

If I believe "

Alex hands her to the angle and smiles softly wiping a tear away, knowing she's going to a better place and to be reunited with her mother who's waiting for her baby. Alex looks at Lavender who had his sweater, he wraps her up like a burrito and heads back to Momma Juju's voodoo shop to retire for the night.
